Of all the massive industry in California, the University of California is the largest employer? Really?

They have close to a dozen campuses and probably a quarter million students per year. Not sure how many faculty and staff but I could see them being a top employer.
UC Berkley
UC Los Angeles
UC San Diego
UC San Francisco
UC Santa Barbara
UC Davis
UC Irvine
UC Santa Cruz
UC Riverside
UC Merced

Isn't Bentonville where there is a Walmart's Corp office? If I'm correct y'all lost points.

Like Texas, California has two university systems. California State University is the other mega-system. Its numbers aren't included in the tally. California devotes a lot of tax dollars to higher education.

Found an article that purports that Walmart has 32000 employees in south carolina. There are 104 walmart locations in the state. That equates to over 300 employees per location. The fact that I can't remember the last time a Walmart had over 4 checkout aisles open has me calling bullshite on this in a big way.

I haven't been in a Walmart in years. That place gives me an attitude and I don't like having an attitude.

Probably because they only keep 3 out of the 60 registers open

Where in the hell are you shopping?
A building full of women in their 50's to 70's with daughters in tow is not exactly what I would call the hipster demographic. Reminds me more of the Grant and Kmart crowd from the 1950's through the 1970's before Grant went broke and Kmart went to the bottom.

Amazon is my go to for most things, Except certain clothes. I'm 40 but will not be rocking mom jeans anytime soon or those damn bedazzled pants.

This seem immune to online shopping. Women shopping for clothes seem to be a gang issue that online shopping will never fulfill.

Kinda surprised that so many universities are on there

Learn to do self-checkout. I've self trained myself to be way better than the employees there that do it all day. It also lessens the risk of you getting stuck behind someone with food stamps or an old lady who still handwrites checks.
