How much younger?

If you're talking 18-23...then what were you expecting?

Just date more than one at a time. That way you don't have enough time to worry too much about any of them.

ETA: You can later narrow them down.

Yeah. It could be like the bachelorette.

Maybe it's me being young and girls my age aren't exactly mature but most girls i have dated overanalyze no matter how much i talk to them. It's infuriating.

her: "Do you want to go eat tonight?"
Me: "I guess so"
her: " Well if it's a burden on you to spend time with me I guess we should just stop talking"

The over analyzing, never stops. Ever.

I have to be sure. I always need tighter definitions when we have these type discussions.

Hell if that's young I've got a good half-decade left of youngness.

I don't know what's wrong with the chicks you guys date.

And Jonesey, I don't know how old you are, but that's just immature behavior. That's high school. Or a girl that has some really overly romanticized view of dating and wants to be treated like a princess all the time. I have no patience for that clingy, needy stuff, it's just not me.

This thread reminds me of how much I hate the whole "talking" concept. If I'm actually interested in a girl, I'll make time to actually do things together. You can't get to know someone over a phone no matter how you use it. I talk to a lot of people, sometimes even girls believe it or not. That doesn't mean we're talking. If I want to really get to know her I'll ask her to do something together. And coming over to drink beer, watch tv, and hook up doesn't count.

If you weren't so sexy, I would take offense to that.

Oh, I disagree with this. It doesn't substitute for face-to-face, but you can absolutely get to know someone and learn lots about them by talking on the phone. It's all in the conversation - do you keep it light, or do you actually talk about things that matter?

Exactly. Like I said earlier, if you actually care about the person, you want to talk to them and be around them.

One of the biggest mistake that men make is not paying attention to the girl that you care about or are interested in.

They're chicks.

Typical stay at home night for Mr and Mrs John Doe unravels like this:

Home from work, "how's your day been? blah blah blah"

Fix dinner, "blah blah blah, stuff we gotta do around the house, blah blah blah"

Watch some TV, maybe feel amorous and have sex.

Late night, after being home for several hours, bed time. Exhausted from work, doing household chores, etc..

Mr. zzzzzzzzzzzzz
Mrs. We need to talk.
Mr. Can we talk in the morning?
Mrs. No. Why won't you talk to me?
Mr. We just spent 5 hours together, why couldn't we have talked about whatever then? I'm tired.
Mrs. We never talk anymore.
Mr. What then?
Mrs. Nevermind, you won't listen anyways!
Mr. I'm awake now. What did you want to talk about?
Mrs. Forget it. I'm sleeping on the couch, you can fix your own breakfast tomorrow.

Silence
Silence
Silence
Silence

Not true. I've seen women sit and analyze a boys's casual banter with a friends like it was Watson and Homes solving the JFK assassination. fricking insane.

The only way I'm talking about anything that actually matters on a phone is if it is absolutely necessary. Anything important should be handled in person if at all possible.
