I'm not sure firing a coach midseason does anything at all but I'm tired of sucking in everything!

So we slog through another season, but there is the ole light at the end of the tunnel...a shiny new coach!

Sterk has been a badass fundraising so far. Let's hope that translates to this coaching search.

Depends if yesterday is the norm, or is today.

The effort or energy that we saw yesterday haven't been there today.

Defense looks like dogshit, can probably blame it on back to back games.

The optimism I had after the first two games have disappeared.

You are probably right. I will just wait more than 3 games into this year before saying that.

Someone said this last year as well. At what point do we say "enough"? You say its only 3 games I say its been over two years of the same shite heading into years three of dogshit bottom feeding in the worst p5 basketball conference

He has had three fricking offseasons now. These ae his recruits. This team is only slightly better than it was when he took over.

I was the biggest supporter of KA on this board. I said over the summer that he should be fired after missing out on a recruit. That being said .500 is where he has to be to be in the conversation about keeping his job with this talent. Yesterday's game was encouraging but not enough. No point in firing a coach at the start of the season.

frick .500

We need a real coach who can at least stop SOME of this instate talent from funneling out to other colleges constantly.

Lol at all of you throwing a party over a moral victory the other day. Shame on all of you for thinking Kim could actually put a decent team on the court. Have you not learned?

I'm saying if he reaches .500 this season the AD sits down and talks with him. Not saying he should stay. Just saying they talk with him before he gets Axed

If he is fired at .500, probably have a better chance a getting a much better new coach, than if Mizzou wins 10 games like the last 2 years.

In that case a young developing roster could be enticing to a potential coach. Not a complete rebuild scenario.

Not until at least 2021 or so. And, coincidentally, On very good days, 2021 is about how many will be attending home games until then.

It's about time a power 5 AD pried Tommy Amakers arse out of Harvard. I think Sterk is up to the task.

I want to see what the team looks like with Barnett. If he's capable of being a 25 minute a game player and a legit 4th option to Hughes, Puryear, & Phillips then you might have the makings of a solid team in 2017-2018.
If he's not that guy then this team will struggle. Then it will be time to move on to a new coach.

Jacobson racked up another impressive win today. Make it happen, Sterk.
