Before BO was hired. Campbell was offered the job but Rhoades lowballed him. He said PO and took the Iowa State job. I have no paper trail to proves this but this came from folks in the know at Iowa State. Rhoades wanted Rhule. But while he was waiting on a for sure response he offered to Campbell...

i get the freak out but the class was 39 when BO was fired. Dont forget that when the other places fired their coaches they lost guys as well...

BO was the only person that would take the job at the lowball offer. Matt Campbell would have taken the job but Rhoades keyed in on Matt Rhule. He did offer the job to Campbell but it was for peanuts. BO took the job after he was the last one remaining. He was on the previous staff and they hamst...
