Because no NBA team in their right mind will waste a first round pick on someone so out of control. He believes he is the only one who can do something out there. And sometimes he is right. But please this is out of control.

I hope the F#(*Ck not. He's about as dumb as a box of rocks and thinks he's all that apparently so maybe he's dumb enough to enter the draft and lose his eligibility. I can only hope at least.

I am beginning to question the wisdom of my fandom

Not that I would ever expend the energy for a different program, but what am I getting in this relationship?

Yepp. I'm done with this basketball team. Part of me hopes they decline the NIT bid(if they get one). Embarrassment.

36% from the field. 0% from 3. If he EVER shoots another 3, I'd sit his arse on the bench.

What have you done for me lately??????

I know. It's depressing. Thankfully, the guy was able to cheer me up tonight. I think I have that SAD - seasonal affective disorder. I need nice weather!! Sunshine!! Flowers!! It's time to get back outside!!!

Anything to distract me from this BS.

I liked what I saw from everyone last night....not named Phil Pressey. He is killing this team.

Keion Bell played great D and was composed offensively.

AO was a beast. I had no problem with throwing the kid down. The kid was latching on to AO and AO didn't care for it. The T was bogus, though. THe A&M player should have been T'd up too for putting his hands on AO.

L-Bo was efficient when he was in the game but officials completely took him out.

Ross was better on the defensive end than he has been for a while. He only took two bad 3s.

Overall, the team played much more composed and disciplined, especially when Phil was not on the floor. When Phil was on the floor, 90% of the defensive breakdowns were because Phil wouldn't guard his man.

With Dixon, this team is a FF team. Dixon was a closer and would allow Haith to keep Phil on the bench where he belongs.

Yep. Kid is playing over his head right now.

Really all he had to do was hold on to the ball take the foul and go shoot freethrows, game over. But nooooooo, we had to throw the ball out of bounds. He needs to be set down on the bench, put Young Haith boy in there and see what he can do.....npt much worse has crossed my mind.

Never thought I'd be talking about Pressey this way, never.

I still think he's the most talented PG we have cause he is the only true PG we have.

Still think Haith needs to bench him. After that blunder last night, he should be keeping a seat warm on the bench. He's gotten to the point he's not contibuting much now anyways. So no big loss. what did he have last night, 5 points or so?

Bell runs the offense better than Pressey does right now. Got to go with the hotter hand.

He had 13 but almost all of it was late when he decided it was a one man show. 0-2 from 3 again. He should never shoot another 3 EVER. Pull up at the elbow, little floater in the lane, drive to the hoop, ok. But never another 3.

Yes, and that should really be appealing to other great point guard recruits - to see what they can look forward to from fans at Mizzou.

Come on. The guy has almost single handedly lost 3 games with playing out-of-control with bad shooting and poor turnovers. It's not a bad thing to be mildly observant.

This thread is an embarrassment.

Pressey just set the alltime assist mark. He said now he wants to set the mark so high no one will ever touch it. I hope that means he's coming back. One of the most enjoyable players to watch since I started watching the Frazier, Sunvold, Stipo era.

It's not an embarrassment. He is 2nd in the SEC in turnovers. He takes horrible shots. He doesn't trust his teammates in the clutch. He plays out of control at the worst possible times. Noticing that isn't embarrassing. It means you actually know something about basketball.

He's not a religious icon or leader of a communist dictatorship who we can't criticize. Haith even spoke to him at half yesterday telling him to be smarte about his shots. He jacked up 2 or more 3s which weren't in the offense right after that. Unimpressive in many ways. His immense potential makes it even more frustrating.
