@Texas, @UGA, @ Vandy, @Arkansas look like the best opportunities for road wins and they could easily get 20 balled by each squad if the perimeter D doesn't get better.

I don't know if they get bored leading by double digits but there are significant periods in each
game where the shots don't fall and the defense follows. That is going to make for a tough night in Gainesville.

Some of that is just Gates’ style. We have great offensive runs and we give up great offensive runs. At least we have some offensive runs this year.
It’s not pretty basketball to watch for stretches for sure.

Football is decent but we haven’t really had a win recently that put us on the map. Just good records with a relatively light schedule.
Jury still out on basketball. 10 games is more than enough to derail a trajectory and hopefully that doesn’t happen. We haven’t made any noise in a tournament for quite some time.

In the grand scheme, though, bowl game wins are worthless. We need an SEC win over UGA, Bama, etc. in a season when it matters.
The win over UGA was exactly that but now that was over a decade ago. We have wilted in every big game since then.
