If horn is healthy, I wouldn’t be disappointed if we didn’t bring in a portal qb. At some point drink needs to live with his qb recruiting decisions, and to some extent rb. Wonder if Chase would have seen the field with drink in this environment?

He’ll bring in a QB. It’s one thing to say “we’re riding with Horn.” But I assume Horn is playing baseball again this year. There’s no guarantee he’ll be healthy for football.

You maybe right but I have no idea. At some point he needs to have some success with his recruits. Harder to recruit later on and we will be looking for free agent QB every year.

Can't blame Drink for QBs. Everyone knew Cook was starting and these kids think they should start day 1 (I'm looking at you Nwanieri). Ohio State stacks QBs and loses them the next year.

And then started following James Madison, Norfleet, Mizzou football, and one other on IG while halfway though his Lville visit. Interesting timing if you ask me.

Mendoza is pretty much a Miami lock I would think. I also don't think the staff will take an unproven QB.
