Honestly, the only reason people knock Tigerboard (other than the terrible format) is because everyone over there save a select few are straight up assholes.
ATX hit the nail on the head. The place was designed for a group of friends.
However, that group of people never were open to the idea of allowing people from outside their group to post there.
It's a clique of IRL assholes who love to run other people off just after insulting them over and over with inside jokes that only the clique would understand.
It's like a bunch of 13 year old girls.

To me tigerboard is the Booches of Mizzou sites.
It hasn't changed in 100 years and is proud of it, the owners and servers are a$$holes, you will only get wax paper and chips no matter how easy it would be to upgrade to plates and fries, it's often the same 5 people there at lunch time any day of the week.
But there are certain things you can only get there and nowhere else, and damn it those cheeseburgers hit the spot.
For real breaking Mizzou news and to verify rumors, and for informed discussions of Mizzou, I use my PowerMizzou subscription.
For trolling other fan bases, funny gifs and occasional actual sec talk, I come here.
But for the pure, old school fun of watching a couple Internet crazies bicker and overreact or to mess around with a DH with reckless abandon or to mob some innocent bystander for kicks, only tigerboard satisfies my craving.
The flaw of theads like these is expecting tigerboard to be more than it is. It's like asking for jalapeños on a Booche burger. all its gonna get you is funny looks from the assholes who run the place.

You are just hyper sensitive to any negative opinions of tigerboard. They are trying to push a subscription so that is kind of why this thread appeared. Hell people there are complaining about it.
You said "no one talks about this place there" then you are presented page after page of posts and threads there about tRant and the kicker was you were in quite a few of them.
I get it, you are emotionally invested in that place but you really are projecting your own shite here man, sorry.

I really don't have the inclination to do searches of past threads on here cuz it's boring and who gives a shite, but yes this topic comes up here often. And i only come into them after yall start talking shite about tb.
Offhand I can remember I replied to one of the early such threads on here with a "leave Britney alone" gif, saying "leave tigerboard alone." Then I proceeded to have the same old discussion with yall as now. Zzzzz.
That was a few years back and a few years later yall still do the same sorts of theads. There are references to the Rant on tb yes, but not bitch fests about it. The post of mine on tb that was linked was a reply to Zeaux's tongue in cheek troll thread there where his premise was that tigerboard needed to be improved relative to the rant. No one cares that you defend tigerboard or that you have a different viewpoint man. Knock yourself out. Your victim play wont get much traction around here.
The bottom line is that tigerboard is rarely discussed here. You have an extreme emotional investment in tigerboard which makes you very sensitive to any kind of crticism. It is what it is not a big deal but please spare us all the other stupid nonsense and just own it.
