The only thing ATX was wrong about is that this fan base is universally despised. A few are, most are fine. And while TB is mentioned occasionally, I don't think we circle jerk over it. Most of us are members in both places, and some post regularly on both sites. I think that's cool.
I can only speak for myself here. I never felt welcome on TB. A female outsider? Yeah. Not so much - I wasn't getting in that clique.
I was never insulted or mobbed, but then I try not to say stupid shite, especially around those I don't know. I just never felt like it was a welcoming place for Mizzou fans. And the repetitiveness got old.
I have nothing against TB, or the people who post there. But I'm a mod here, and so here is where I spend most of my sports board time. As far as I'm concerned, all are welcome, and the more the merrier. I'd love to see more TB folks here, when they want something a little different. They would be welcome. I don't see it as an "us vs. them."
