Tigerboard to require a subscription next year?

Sorry Nick, Tigerboard is not worth any amount of subscription money. I don't mean to sound like a dick about it, but the quality of that board is crap both in content and in format. I would hope the money is going to go toward the format, but I highly doubt the content will be equal to PM.
I hope we can recruit more Mizzou fans over to the Rant. Killz, this might be the time to move forward with what we were discussing.

I tried to check that site out years ago but it was impossible to navigate.
If they are going to have a subscription they better fix their format.

Yeah, I agree. Sorry I've been exceptionally busy at work and have been working on a commissioned project outside of work.
When I'm finished with that project, I'll let you know and perhaps we can make strides toward accomplishing our goal.

If he's going to charge a subscription fee, the content has to justify it. Unless there is a completely new format, and original, exclusive content, TB won't grow beyond the few cronies that will pay for it because they want to support Nick.
I see where Nick is coming from. Ad dollars can only take you so far. But unless he's going to have journalists, and exclusive content, and a totally different format... I see lots of new members here.

TB has had previous subscriptions before. There is still a subs board those subscribers can access. I doubt there will be anything major as far as requiring everyone to subscribe.
And I doubt content will ever be a problem. Anything that happens, TB will be either the first or 2nd place you can find it. And it does have some exclusive content (mubobby and crazylegs ring a bell?).
TB needs to flush out the trolls and flamers. That should be Nick's #1 objective. Content there already blows every other Mizzou site (including paid sites) away.

Just kidding, but Tigerboard sucks. The "exclusive" content comes from normal people who will move on to a different and better site.

Tigerboard is an embarrassment just for that gawd awful format. It deserves to die and a subscription should do the trick.
