That’s what this game is. Pitiful offensive line work, worse QBing, and mediocre in-game coaching. Penalty ridden in year 3.

UT can take Hooker out and still drop 70 on us. Pathetic DBs. The apathy is hitting hard again.

Drink isn't a winner it appears. I am sure the sunshine pumpers will claim it was a great moral victory today.

I can’t believe we gave Drinkwitz an extension.

He’s a first rate loser for sure. There has been no progress offensively for this team for the last 5-6 seasons.

I’d rather have an offense and a shite D to make games entertaining at least, than an above average D and a wretched offense with D2 starters.

Honestly they had looks there. No qb to make the plays.

I can't blame the QB in this one.

1. When asked to attack the defense, Brady did. He went 3rd and Bannister a few times(which is criminally underused.) He went deep, though the Dove TD was luck, he made the throw, and the TD pass was Lovett was perfect. Oh and he ran the ball very well.

2. I put this mess on Drink and Blake. Drink was bad. Cook gave him a blueprint for today and Drink went into his shell. Blake didn't pay attention to UGA. They blitzed 66% of the time to keep Hooker from throwing those slants. We should have copied that. No one has the DBs to stand up to UTs offense.

No one is defending Drink today.

In fact, on this board, he hasn’t been defended much at all. The biggest defense is “we can’t fire coaches every three years.”

It’s not even the throws he misses. It’s the ones he doesn’t attempt/see that kills this offense and if I’m supposed to believe this is a pro style offense he should be going through progressions

He only gets the primary read in this offense. It simplifies things. Actually Heupal did the same with Lock. This offensive line doesn't allow a QB to read 2 wrs and the checkdown. So that's not really on Cook.

It is still on Cook. They’ve gone to one read because that’s all Cook can do.

You really think the OL could hold up and allow the reads? Even with the 1 read, Cook takes a beating. I get it, Cook isn't the answer, but the situation isn't ideal.

I think we can all agree it lands on one person and we know who that is.

The extension lowered his buyout. He gets next year, and if it's more of this he's gone.

I’ve seen the line hold up plenty of times and he ignores the open guy for the primary read.

Complain all you want about our bad line play, Cook processes things tragically slow with both passes and when he takes off. And he reads the wrong lakes to run to in short yardage damn near every time.

Sure. It’s not ideal. It’s worse with Cook than with a competent QB.

Neuheisel was even saying today that Cook has one read and then is supposed to throw it away.

I agree there are times the OL holds up. What I'm asking is do you honestly believe the OL is good enough to allow any QB to go through his progression? Because Drinks offense is supposedly based on multiple shifts that create favorable matchups. But a QB needs time to get through progressions to find the favorable match-up.

This isn't just a Mizzou thing. Jimbo is defending his pro style offense that isn't working. His offense requires correct reads at the LOS. But a QB needs time because the shifts are complex. And surprisingly Arkansas under Pittman has a bad OL.

Horn gets the start next year or he transfers. We need an OC that can play to his strengths. But we really need an upgrade at OL coach.

This at least should be a discussion.
