You are what your record says you are. He’ll get a chance to fix it and I’m rooting for him to do it.

notsince98 you have been consistent on how you feel about Drink and you could be right. I hope you are wrong. I’m not convinced either way

Odom left Drink a team that went .500 in the SEC. Drink hasn't shown any improvement on that Odom team to this point.

Every college team loses players every year. That is only an excuse for teams who were really good and had a slight drop. That isn't Mizzou.

Losing 80% of your offense that includes your starting QB on a .500 team is worse. Then you are left with a offense with 2 returning starters and 2 terrible QB’s. That is a easy analysis

The analysis of Drink is much harder. He is a offensive minded coach that was left with no offense and has had to rely on defense.

The way Odom left the offense makes it hard to find out what kind of coach Drink can be. 20 years ago Brad Smith turned the program around with GP and maybe Horn or Gabarri can do that with Drink.

We need talented players to be competitive in the SEC. To get these players we need to have a consistent program led by a loyal head coach and a athletic department that can find money to pay players.

We need a coach that will stick around and build are program like GP did but better. To be compete with Blue Bloods every year we need to build a program like Wisconsin.

Since 1993, the Badgers have appeared in 27 bowl games in 29 seasons and won at least a share of the conference championship six times. Previous 29 years they had 22 losing seasons. Barry Alvarez turned a losing program into a team that competes with Blue Bloods every year. Alvarez had losing seasons his first 3 years with a 1-10 first year.

Here is my main problem with people thinking Drink is not the right coach. Even without a QB that opens the playbook..playback...

1. Auburn loss he is let down by 2 players.

2. Schrader is 1 step away from 7 points and a tie game against #1 Georgia. Who knows how OT goes.

3. 1 terrible QB decision away from a Florida tie or OT win.

4. 1 punt play away from a UK win.

Usually a team splits these close games. Mizzou has lost them all because of 1 play. And what could Drink have done to change any of those events? Bad offense, clock management and QB and somehow 4 losses come down to 1 play.

Here is the link to the overall rankings for each team.
Missouri is at 31 overall ranking. Well below for the SEC. Only Vandy is lower.
