I'm pleasantly surprised the support for MIZZOU is getting nation wide.
The SEC coming out as fast and as hard as they did also is important IMO
Still hoping the outrage continues to grow.

Good for him.
I'm finding that my anger is growing day by day instead of going away.

Sunvold is right, and for God's sake when will everyone "wake up!" With the networks funding football conferences directly, there is no reason to have the NCAA as a governing body. If the Power 5 conferences agree to return to the N.I.T. tourney (yes there was a time when the NIT was the bigger tourney), then you would strip the NCAA of any financial involvement in the 2 money making sports.
The NCAA exists at the convenience of the Power 5. It is time for the Power 5 to govern themselves through a mix of conference reps and impartial members.

Well, Christ himself can protest, but the penalties will stick. Time to move on with things as they are.

I don’t think that’s reality.

Bass, of course I hope you're right, but I can't see the NCAA losing face, admitting a mistake, and appearing to be "soft on cheating" by lessening the penalties.

The wins will stay vacated.
I don’t think the postseason bans will stay.

The bigger issue will be recruiting sanctions and scholarships. If he coaches really can’t recruit offcampus for 2 months it could be a lost class.
Although junior day is going on today. I’ve seen a few tweets of recruits visiting.

They reduced the Ole Miss penalties and their situation was viewed infinitely more negatively in the public forum.

The appeals process should take up to 6 months. That means they have all summer to recruit without restrictions. Then the recruiting penalties should start around August/September.
That lets us have all summer to recruit. The following class restrictions should be lifted by early fall 2020. That means by the 2020 season the ban should be lifted and we will be able to recruit during the entire season without restrictions.
This means by the end of this summer we need to have as many 2020 recruits committed.

That sort of reads like we could be the martyr that kills the NCAA.....

IF this kills the NCAA, we're not martyrs....we're heroes.

Martyrs are typically considered heroes.

Correct but we're in the SEC, most people don't know that

Martyrs die. Our AD is far from dead on this matter.

Only time will tell. I could easily see this sinking the football program into obscurity for another 5+ years.
