Eh. I remember when the BOC was firing Mike Alden and he said “frick em” and brought his coach, Mike Anderson, back to Mizzou and lasted another 7 years.

I suspect the first face to face may have been Saturday, but the basic over the phone "Your people talk to my people and get this done" was a couple of days earlier.

He is actually being interesting there. He admits they weren’t the final three. He may have an actual source. But every single other source talking about this is saying they were the three final candidates. He’s smart enough to know that’s not accurate.
