Sam had 7 career sacks before his senior season. Kul had a lot of seasons with the guy leading the team in sacks finished with 5 or 6. Howard and Brady getting kicked off probably hurt more than Kul being upset about not getting the DC job in Pinkel’s last season.

Well this "Take 2 steps and then watch the QB throw the ball" approach isn't amounting to shite. Brick has the guys playing decent run defense, bu when was the last time a Mizzou defense had no hope for a sack or even pressure?

You can't be seriously stacking up Kul's pipeline of pass rushers against losing losing Howard and Brady. And if losing those 2 guys has really brought us to this, then it makes Kul's job even more impressive because he was their coach. You are honestly saying you don't see a total lack of pass rush technique since Kul's departure?

What!? You mean our defensive players are supposed to rush the passer?

When did that start?

Has anyone told our coaches?

Who wants to set the over/under on sacks of Lock and turnovers created by Kul's defense next week?

It’s very clear how much the attacking style has fallen by the wayside. Kuhls Dlines were fast, quick off the snap, frenetic at the line of scrimmage to confuse opponents. Without a Pinkel recruit (Buckner) imagine just how shitty this D would be. He’s outclassed at the P5 level.

Dear Lord, I had hoped for a respectable loss, but Bama is going to dissect/destroy/deep fat fry this bunch. Memphis will probably walk over the shell shocked remains. And then it gets truly ugly.

Haley has more guys he’s recruited and coached in the NFL than Kul.

Kul is a great coach, there’s no doubt about that. Could he get more out of the group of inexperienced DE Mizzou has? I doubt it.

Tennessee only has 1

Nebraska is a way stronger historical program than Tennessee. Tennessee a bunch of delusional fricks. It's like Colorado fans comparing themselves to Bama

I'm not saying Haley isn't a good coach. But you've got to admit, on that last USCe drive, did you really expect the DE's to bend the corner and stop the drive? Remember when you could almost count on that at DLineZou? 2 star, 3 star, 4 star...didn't make a difference. All I'm saying is that we are sorely missing that.

I’m officially done following Mizzou until basketball season. I’m canceling my Tuscaloosa trip. I’m too ashamed to be seen in public with a Mizzou shirt on. I said this time and time again, Odom blows.

You get what you pay for
I hope Odom joins Kim Anderson in hell for conning this university into giving them a chance.

Onside kick? You’re a frickin idiot

I just think it’s the talent of the players more than the coaching. Kul had about 10 years as a position coach at Mizzou were his group was nothing special.

Mizzou’s defense now seems a lot like several of the early Pinkel defenses. Not good enough at rushing the QB, and not good enough in the secondary to overcome the lack of a pass rush.

BO is the lowest paid coach in the SEC for a reason. And he ain't worth it.

Kimbo and Barry didn't con anyone. Mizzou hired them, with fingers crossed, as unproven True Sons. Can't blame either coach for giving the job a try...and becoming millionaires.

But neither had/has the experience to be HCs in the SEC.

Well sooner or later "Dooley's gonna Dooley." Let's just hope he is out of his mind sharp next week (like the Purdue game), because today was not good.

The worst part to me, is that I knew last year how this would go. BO's teams are utterly predictable.

All this pie in the sky 9 wins sheeeit. Dead last in recruiting, and worse to come.

Talent isn’t the problem though. Hell, we pushed them around all day and we certainly weren’t physically overmatched vs Georgia

The problem is in this league the margin for error is thin, and we consistently make crushing errors. Every game.

I actually think he’s doing a good job of getting talent in. The game day coaching is leaving a lot to be desired though, and the defense has sucked ever since he became HC.

He’s on his way to being the LB coach at Tulane if he doesn’t have a serious turnaround in the second half of this season
