Stone, Pierce, and Mitchell are the only guys that would get minutes on a good team right now. Robinson is disappearing, Barrett is Temu Flip Pressey, Crews is 4-15 from 3 in SEC play and is awful on defense. Boateng, Mack and Phillips can all make a shoe smell but offer little else.

The thing I noticed in yesterday's game is this team doesn't have a "dude" ... a guy who will put the team on his back outside of Stone ... but even Stone had moments yesterday, shakes free, could catch and shoot (not a 3) and he was immediately looking to pass ...
Maybe Crowe can finally be that guy but back in the day ... Peeler, Booker, English, Denmon would step up to be the guy.
The offensive identity of this team doesn't exist and it makes for some really boring, bad basketball to watch when the coach is this clueless

Boateng is just not a Power conference level talent.
Phillips plays no post defense and gets way too few rebounds for a 7 footer.
Mack is just nothing.

7’ that played 18 mins, had 2 rebounds, credited with 1 TO but was responsible for probably 4 TOs, 5 fouls and somehow gives up a drive to the hoop by a 5-11 player and fouls him without even affecting the shot.
As per usual, rotations are wild. In a horrible sign, Barrett is a better PG currently than Robinson who has absolutely lost it.
Sit Phillips for the rest of the season.

Gates was visibly frustrated with the team tonight. They were clearly not even listening to him. Crews ran in and took out the wrong player at one point.

I just cant get behind allowing a layup with a 1pt lead. i can't make any scenario from that work out rationally.
