With a replay at 3 AM tommorrow (Thursday)
It's an All-Access look leading up to the Vanderbilt game.
I'm not sure if the SEC Film Room that follows will be Mizzou too, but it's worth taping anyway.

Listening to BO and Stinchcomb talk ball is solid fare.

That should help Missouri fans to start believing in BO can be successful the rest of the year and next year too!

Odom has proven he is a smart if not a genius when it comes to football, especially defensive tactics.
The issue Odom has right now is the fundamentals. His teams lack discipline and playing smart. The little things kill this team over and over for 3 years now. Pinkel understood, just like Bill Snyder, that you may not always have more talent but you can definitely make less mistakes and win the special teams battle every week. That alone will get you a lot of wins vs teams with more talent.

Gary pissed away plenty of games.

Why do you think they aren't generating turnovers on defense like they used to?
I assume it's some sort of coaching technique or point of emphasis.

It’s talent as much as anything else. The late Pinkel teams that forced a lot of turnovers had NFL DE that got to the QB and disrupted the entire offense without blitzing

There's no one like Aldon Smith Kony Ealy or Shane Ray hitting the quarterback on the blind side. along with being able to knock the ball loose it speeds the entire opposing offense up. the ball ends up getting delivered early. skill players aren't ready for it and don't have ball leverage by the time the 1st defender arrives. The skill player starts trying to fight through contact and the second defender arrives and pulls the ball out. The bottom line is that the ends don't disrupt enough.

It was good to look at certain situational plays at a micro level.
Certain scenarios showed how the staff has this team in good positions, but the player simply makes a mistake which lead to big plays.
The Brandon Lee missed tackle filling the hole for that long run stands out to me.

Lee had an opportunity to set the tone for the game on that play. When he saw grass he should have got down hill. He meets that dude on hole at full speed and that place would have erupted.

This one of the best things the SEC has done in awhile. Makes the conference all the more prestigious.

It was really cool to see them break down the goalline stand on SEC Film Room.
Incredible plays made by the defensive tackles.
