I'm seeing 8-5 IF we win the bowl game.

Loses to the usual teams..
West Virginia
SC
Kentucky
Georgia
Florida

We might beat Florida but could also lose to a lesser team like Tennessee, the record stays the same.

WVU ain’t gonna be shite next year without Grier and Holgerson.

Odom would be hit garbage to lose to that recruiting black hole.

If he can’t beat UK and SC again tho, he gotta go.

8-5 seems about right.

Realistically, 8-5 is probably about where we will end up.

8-5 will be a big disappointment for me personally. Should not lose to WV, SC or UK. Probably will lose some/all of those. For me personally, anything less than double digit wins next year after the bowl game will mean a let down again by BO. Not saying it means he gets fired. But just like losing the SC and UK game this year were blemishes on BO, doing so again next year will be blemishes.

We could win 9 games.
I expect somewhere between 6 and 8.

Dooley is going to have time to really perfect his offense. I think Bryant's on field competitiveness really benefits this team. We lose a close one at UGA, but win the East.

Too early for this.

Does Albert O come back? Does Graves qualify?

I’m at 7-8 wins right now before the bowl game.

On offense we need to see some receivers develop.
On defense a more consistent pass rush, especially from the DE position, and better play from the secondary.

Why? We won 8 this year and let 2 games slip away. Our schedule is a LOT easier as well. We lose Lock, but replace him with a kid who led his team to the National championship game. 6 to 8 is a typical type of
Comment from you. If I knew you I’d bet
The House otherwise we win more than 7 games. Vegas will prob have us at like 8.5. To 9. Your just negative.

West Virginia will still be good, mark my word. In terms of competitiveness, I see them as our doppleganger in the past 15 years. Hell we would have played them in the National Championship game in 2007 if both teams won their last game before the bcs game.

Every year people predict great things. Every year Bass either nails it or comes within a game. It's the new negative.

Didn’t he predict 6 wins for this season?

Although next season I’m pretty close to Bass in my prediction. Obviously if Albert O returns, Chester Graves comes and a couple other defensive players develop this spring I might go higher.

I did predict 6 wins for 2017.

Next year we lose 2 to 3 of our 4 best offensive players. We lose our best defensive player. We lose two starting linebackers. We start a new QB in a new-to-him offense. And we return the 111th rated pass defense.

We may not have the kind of falloff I was dreading without Bryant. But I think a slight falloff is inevitable. Maybe Odom’s coaching chops make up for that. I’d guess not completely.

WVU is replacing their starting QB, both starting WRs, the starting TE, one side of the Oline, and 5 primary defensive contributors (3 DL and both safeties). Holgerson didn't want to be part of a rebuild and caught the first train out of Morgantown. No excuse not to win that game.

I don't care who South Carolina gets back. They have to win that game. Time to stop crapping the bed in September.

The game vs UGA stands to be the first November loss for the team in two years. Coming off a bye, that would be a statement win. Getting help from Auburn and aTm would be nice as well.

I think Florida is still a year out in the trenches offensively especially with Jawaan Taylor following SRs Martez Ivey, Tyler Jordan, and Fred Johnson out the door. They aren't equipped to replace 4 of their 5 starting linemen and the starting TE. Jordan Scarlett is leaving as well. Defensively they are losing their top two DLinmen (Adam Schuler graduates and Polite is leaving early). CeCe Jefferson and Kahiri Clark run out of eligibility. Vosean Joseph and Chauncey Gardner-Thompson are leaving the defense early as well. Getting them in November is a plus IMO and I think MU wins that game.

Snell won't be easy for Kentucky to replace. Production aside, he meant a lot to that program with his leadership. I don't think Asim Rose is going to step in and give provide those #s with out a lot of help from an offensive line that is replacing the starting TE, RT, and RG. They replace both starting outside WRs as well. They replace 7 starters on defense including the best DE in the country. I think they take a big step back.

The schedule sets up for something special that hinges on Bryant, LR3/Crockett, and Walters getting his room together.

What? Barry Odom is now a good coach? What happened to the fan base saying Barry still suck and he will find ways to lose games that he should win? I see that in several other Missouri site that is sad.

Would not matter but will help big time. I am wondering why did Bryant picked Missouri over Auburn and others? Got to be what Bryant saw the writing on the wall for others and Missouri looking good for 2019.

I am going with Bryant picking MIZZOU for a reason! That is good enough for at 9-11 wins season. Also Athlon pre-ranked Missouri at #20. This is a turning point for Missouri and Barry Odom. If you people are saying only 6-8 wins then you people must be smarter than other experts that saw an improvement from last year. Now they expected to see another improvement next year.
