Great time for a bye, hopefully get Mookie, Luther, and Dom healthy for the 2nd half, and also a 100% Bailey.

Not sure how much we would see him, but any word on Young's return? And Hyrin White may return any week.

Im going with -

Vandy - w
@USCe - w
UK - w
@UT - L
NMstate - W
Arky - L(each week im getting more confident we can win that)

7 wins(8 with bowl) is possibly still on the table, but also is 7 losses.

Wins over Vandy, SC, and NM state. Home against UK and Arky should be wins too but seeing our ability to shite the bed I’ll predict those to be losses. 5-7 and we probably get a pity bowl game

We could win between one and 5 games of the remaining 6.

Tennessee is a loss.
New Mexico State is a win.

All the other games are winnable and “loseable.”

I expect to win 2 to 3.

4-8 or 5-7 with wins over Vandy and NM. Possibly steal one from USCe, UK or Arky. Get raped by Tenner.

Tennessee is going to beat us real bad. We don’t have the tools to stress their only weakness. Going to be ugly.

The other 5 are winnable though.

Im not sure it'll be worse than kstate game, actually. My guess is UT wins by 14-21 - IF our offense doesn't turn the ball over.

ESPN has us at favorite against Vandy, NMState, and Arkansas.

USCe will probably need this win to be bowl eligible. It will be a tough game on the road. If UK’s QB was playing last week USCe loses by 2 TD’s.

Even if Kentucky’s QB Levis comes back next week they will probably lose 4 straight games by the time we play them. UK’s backup QB had a QBR of 29 in the lose to USCe. It should be a good game against a UK team on a losing skid. Levis was in boot and had a dislocated finger.

The Arkansas game will probably depend on when Jefferson is healthy. If he misses a game against BYU, Liberty, or Auburn it maybe a game where the winner is bowl eligible.

Vandy-W
USCe-W
NMState-W
Tenn-L
UK-?
Ark-?

Probably 5-7, but if we’re lucky 6-6 or 7-5

If we had a QB we would be 4-2 or 5-1

Cook is like UK’s backup losing games against inferior teams

I’d like to be optimistic for the rest of the season and say 6-6( i saw someone at espn pick us for the gasparilla bowl). Wins against vandy, n mexico, scar and arky.

We’ll know a lot after vandy. Right now Cook has a banged up shoulder from the ksu game when he didnt slide on the qb run. Bannister has a bruised lung and almost played saturday against florida. Lovett will be fine after the bye week. Let’s watch closely to see if that bye week is enough time for Peat to figure out where to line up. He’s a smart kid but is still confusing stanford’s plays with ours.

4-8 maybe 5-7

I think we take Vandy at home.

I don’t think we beat UK.

USCe not likely

New Mexico whatever they are should be a W

Arky is 50-50

I would love to be optimistic about 6-6 but I don’t think we have shown enough to say there are 4 more wins out there.

"WHAT IF" RANKINGS

2019 what if
Mizzou should have started 8-0, but instead they started 5-1 with a loss to Wyoming. Then they lost 5 in a row to 3-9 Vandy, Kentucky, UGA, Florida, Tennessee and ended the season with a win at Arkansas.

Should have had wins against
Wyoming
West Virginia
South Carolina
Troy
Ole Miss
Vandy
Kentucky
Tennessee
Arkansas

Losses to
Georgia
Florida

What if we ended the season 10-2 with losses to #4 UGA and #6 Florida.

Odom would still be head Coach and would get fired after this year.

Please give Drinkwitz more time. If the bye week doesn't matter and the quarterback is still a problem, then Drinkwitz need to speak on the reason for the quarterback not getting it done or why he didn't make a switch on to Horn. I want to see what he has to say at the end of the season about the quarterback situation and any other problems for having a bad offense.
Remember last year was the bad defense and he fixed it by hiring a new DC. Now I want to hear how he is going to fix the offense at the end of the year.

You are what your record says you are.

Nebraskans said the same thing last year.
