Hopefully it’s a one-off but we still play a few defenses better, and Beau and OL looked awful.

Beau is holding onto the ball instead of throwing WRs open. Throwing it late into double coverage repeatedly.

This squarely on Moore.

So Moore can't coach a QB or call an Offense. Perfect HC for Arkansas

I laughed at the idea of losing him to Arkansas. Almost a double win for us

OL was OK not great, but good enough. The last play Beau throws to Olugbode in the middle in double to triple coverage and Johnson was wide open on the sideline for a 10 to 15 yard gain which would have stopped the clock. Johnson was probably his 1st option on the play.

Not sticking with the run in the 3rd quarter was shocking.

Probably the worst play of the game was the unsportsmanlike penalty on Bama’s 1st drive. Bama’s probably going to punt on the next play, but instead they go on a long 6 minute drive for a TD. The offense has a 3-n-out and Bama goes on a 5 minute TD drive on a tired defense.

A huge momentum switch that could have been a 14 point swing the way the Mizzou offense played on their 1st possession.

The 1st possession was scripted. After that its all Moore not momentum. And this has been an ongoing issue with his offenses. No rhythm or identity. He doesn't attack the other team. The story is always "what the defense did to take things away from us." Not what Moore took from the defense.

But in listening to Drinks comments, he seems to be waking up to his staffs in game weaknesses.

He’d never let it get out publicly but I bet eli was annoyed Kirby interviewed during Bama prep.

I would agree with that.

We had 2 weeks to prepare for Bama.

A good coach would be happy that one of his coordinators is getting the opportunity to get a head coaching job. He may not be happy that he is leaving, but proud he has developed a coordinator into a HC.

The interview was on a video call, so he didn’t even leave campus

That's fine, but he didn't use the 2 weeks well. Not a good plan when your best player is neglected in the 2nd half.

Pribula had a bad game and made bad decisions. I watched the last play again and can’t believe how open Johnson is on the sideline. A good pass and he makes a big play. That late in the game the sideline throw has to be the 1st option.

I think Hardy had 4 rushes in the 2nd half. I wonder how many RPO’s Pribula decided to pass or run it himself instead of giving the ball to Hardy. navynuke could probably watch the game and figure it out.

There's a reason he was behind Allar of a 3-3 Penn State team.

Still pissed our bag wasn't large enough for Mendoza or we ran our pocket passer as his only play this year

If Pribula had stayed at Penn State he would be the starter now that Allar’s out for the year.

Sure was. I'm surprised he never went back to much of it.

Pribula in the pocket is a disaster. He needs to be rolled out and have his progressions restricted to half the feild.

Unfortunately pribula isn’t the answer. He just can’t make big passes to keep things moving. The three and outs killed us. I think we win comfortably if we just avoided one of the three and outs.

This is obviously already in the playbook ...

See the last offensive Mizzou play of the game.

Busted coverage, Johnson standing by himself (then jumping up and down going nuts which was understandable but a little bush league) and Pribula staring down Donovan for the pick.

Really nice kid, but his pre-snap and coverage reads is as bad as tunnel-vision Cook. And restricting our offense to half the field on passing situations is no way to win against SEC defenses ...

Im gonna defend Johnson. Pribula is constantly throwing high and Johnson, Coleman and Olugbode constantly bail him out with great catches. We're used to QBs getting frustrated with WRs who run incorrect routes, drop passes etc, nothing wrong with WRs getting frustrated when the QB constantly can't get you the ball so you can make big plays.
