That’s inaccurate. It did show some signs of struggling, but the offense was in the top 40 SP+ before this slide.

That still included data from last year.

They were 4th in Yards per play before the month of November.

Any way you want to slice it man

Against very poor teams.

Every week the run game struggled. It has been clear all year long this offense was not where it needed to be. Use all the stats you want but it just go back and watch the games.

The offense has been dead last in the SEC all year in Red Zone performance. It's like a completely different person calls the plays inside the 20.

Lol...I love the IDC about stats line when getting beat over the head with facts.

It really doesn’t matter what you think. You’d have to be a bumbling retard to not see that the offense fell off a cliff after the Ole Miss game. It’s such a bad take that there is no way that you actually believe it

It obviously did. We also went from playing very low caliber defenses to not so low caliber defenses.

Something obviously happened there at that time. And also, our offense has been below what it was last year, especially running the ball even when we were winning.

People mention a lot about KB holding the ball too long and not seeing the open receiver on the other side of the field. Also saying bad play calling.

If receivers are getting open on the other side of the field often enough then it isn't bad play calling. It is bad QBing. I could see how this could snowball a mentally weaker team that was expecting 10 win season. It is a sign of bad culture. Hopefully it stems from an outsider QB and this will all be over at the end of the season, but who knows how deep it really runs.

I have no idea how this all happened. I could see anywhere from 6-10 wins this season and not being surprised, but this turn was something I never imagined.

Last year was OC first time ever as OC. This year it is worst! What cause of the declined of the offense? KB lack to throw over 20 yards? That helped other teams to stack up front and a few to the middle of field. That is what happening so far with good defense or teams seeing that weakness from Kelly Bryant.

And in the red zone.....and with short fields.....and especially during games with another team on the field.

I expected us to underperform this year as well. But even I had us winning 8 games.

I figured we lose the two easy to predict losses and then have two more random losses thrown in - probably on the road. We’re way past that.

I wasn't generous in my pre-season prediction. (maybe just the ingrained habit of a long-time Mizzou fan).

When I saw all the internet guys who thought 9, 10, maybe 11 wins were ours for the taking...it was then that I realized the abuse of oxycontin was more widespread than I thought.

No one could have foreseen the abysmal play from the O-Line & the offense in general.....yeah I'm usually the most optimistic one but I never even remotely saw this train wreck coming.

Ding ding ding. When you dig in to all the advanced metrics, our offense was struggling this year even during the win streak.

Lol...no it wasn’t. You just swept the analytics aside with a “watch the games!” Response.

It was not elite, but it was INFINITELY better than where we are now. Stop with this nonsense

Missouri's rushing success rate was only 44% before Bryant got hurt and it is 37% since. Sans the OM game, run blocking has been poor.

I don't know what's going on with your team right now but I thought you all might appreciate this quote:

Dave Matter
@Dave_Matter
Derek Dooley quote of the day on Mizzou's struggling offense: "We're kind of, a little bit, in football hell right now."

Of course, that probably means you'll find your groove just in time for our game.

That’s answered a lot of imprecatory prayers. Plenty of fans were saying “ Derek Dooley can go to hell!” after the last four games.

That's a fantastic response 808.

In all seriousness, do you think it's Dooley or Bryant or what that's caused the offense to fall off from last year?
