New images/layout of South EZ complex

Hate to be that guy but...it looks terrible.

I mean, it looks "nice", but it doesn't fit the stadium at all. This honestly looks like a Sun-Belt level endzone. It looks tiny in comparison to the rest of the stadium, and I would venture to say it also looks less imposing than the current south endzone stands.

I definitely appreciate the improved facilities, training areas, locker room, offices, etc that it provides, but I feel like it doesn't integrate with the stadium at all.

Really does make it look like a high school (or Sun Belt) stadium...

Needs to be taller. Where are the video boards?

It's as if they are trying to promote the view behind the stadium...er, nice tree line folks.

I agree, it needs to be more imposing.

It's not an expansion of the stadium. It's a football only complex (that we desperately need) attached to the stadium in order to replace the oldest, most dilapidated area of the stadium killing two birds with one stone.

It addresses what we need. Anything bigger would just be superfluous seating that would be empty anyway.

They could have built something similar to what Arkansas has.



IMO, preferable to attach it to the stadium and increase concourse space for fan flow during the game.

If you are looking for more of a horseshoe design then that would come from the North EZ by placing permanent seating around the M and reworking the video board.

this project had so much potential and it seems every new version of renderings gets worse and worse.

Whoever the architect is for this needs to be fired. There wasn't even the slightest attempt to tie this into the existing stadium.

Somebody is making bank for this shitty design.

add me to the short list of, "blah". With 100 million I feel like we could have done better, Id like to see the SZ expansion to be more vertical.

As already stated in this thread, the current SEZ "looks" better from the inside. It goes up higher, has a more intimidating appearance and likely holds sound in much better.

This project takes away from the inside of the stadium and focuses on everything outside. They should have followed the 2nd renderings released. That would have been a fine project that checked all boxes despite being a slight capacity reduction.

Needs a video board
