I can guarantee you one thing I won’t be wrong about. Whoever we hire (if we get there) you’ll be screaming to the mountaintops about how shitty he is and figuring out ways to fire him within 2-3 years.

That’s a 100% ironclad guarantee.

You can say the same about a sunshine pumper and it would very likely be correct.

very few P5 coaches avoid getting fired/forced out. It is only a matter of when. It has to be something crazy like 90%+ get fired/forced out.

which is why it's funny when people talk about if we get a successful coach he will just leave. The last time that happened was Dan Devine. Every coach since then has been fired, except for Pinkle, who retired.

The college landscape has changed alot since Dan Devine. Look at someone like Dana Holgerson at West Virginia, I have always viewed WV as a team basically on the same level as Mizzou in terms of football. He left that team abruptly for Houston, reasoning be damned. On the flip side, you could have a Tom Herman situation where he is just waiting for his opportunity to get to a team like Texas. I do not envy the AD trying to find a replacement for Odom.

Anyone hearing any rumblings of Robinson moving on? He'd have to sit out a whole another year wouldn't he? Think the rumor I was just told is BS.

Better hope he stays and get the reps but the key is he might not be a good fit since Kelly Bryant have not played like a 4 star quarterback for Missouri. I think key might be Bazelak will be the starter next year since he will be more comfortable with being a pocket passer quarterback. This year dual threat quarterback have not worked out so far for Kelly Bryant this year. I also remember that he wanted to be more like a pp quarterback. That might have been way he is failing this year at Missouri so far.
