Let’s hope so. I mean it’s almost literally unbelievable.

Doesn't sound poo poo from Gabe:

"Sources have indicated to PowerMizzou.com that Missouri hopes to have a coaching hire finalized by the end of the weekend. That now looks almost certainly to be Dennis Gates."

I use to enjoy PowerMizzou because of the inside info. We are talking about 10 years or so ago. That place went to shite imho when it became a troll fest amongst subscribers. I don't need to pay for that when there is plenty of it here on the Rant.

I read that this could possibly be coming from Gates side to start a bidding war with other schools. Apparently he has interest from us , USCe, LSU.

EDIT: Ignore this

It more than likely going to be gates

He has turned things around at Cleveland State but he isn't exactly dominating the Horizon League which could be concerning. Gates has had two good years in a bad conference.

When Arkansas hired Nolan Richardson back in the day we got him from Tulsa where he was winning 76% of his games and had claimed an NIT championship. That is the sort of resume you are looking for. Not... he's doing pretty good at Cleveland State.

Who knows? Maybe he'll be the second coming of John Wooden.

Let's hope. Apathy has set in and I fully expect to be given another reason to not GAF about hoops.

On a good note, I put a hoop together for the kids last night. No legs but I can still shoot!

If they make a bad coaching hire, it just frees up more of my time.
Not coming back to basketball in any way until they hire a coach that is a great hire, or the results are apparent on the court.

Booster boss wonders "Why the god damned hurry? let the tournament shake out a few more days and see what else is available."

I was hoping someone would step up and block the hire. Just like when Sterk wanted the Arkansas St. coach.

Exactly how I feel. Won't give a shite until we are winning, if that ever happens.
