For sure, the bye week makes it possible. it's coming.

OM is OM. Not any more worried about it than I was any other game this year. Meaning I'm worried a lot, just not any more. Vandy and Arky played them close. Doesn't mean Mizzou walks in an wins but it makes me believe they have every opportunity to do so.

A&M....score 50 and have a chance. And 50 isn't out of the question against their defense.

Against OM, the pass rush will be the key.

Against A&M, the offenses are comparable, so it will come down to which team gets some stops and turnovers. Advantage MU, I think. Our defense is quite a bit better, so in theory should provide more stops and turnovers.

Yep. That's why it would be my goal to score on every possession, almost at all costs.

Going for it on 4th down. Pulling every trick play out of the book. Trying to work the clock to have the last meaningful possession of each half. Even going for two to break a tie to prevent OT at the end of the game. If at all humanly possible, I'm not letting Manziel have the ball last.

I'd rather go out guns blazing (in both games) and win this thing, than limp around with indecisiveness of any kind.

We may never pass this way again...

Mizzou will clinch the SEC East with a UGA win next week and Mizzou win vs Ole Miss

Or a Florida win over SC and a Mizzou win

With Ole Miss, Mizzou just needs to keep doing what they've been doing. Solid defense, and balanced offense. But, get off to a quick start. Don't let them think they have a chance. Play up to the level of a top 10 ranked team.

aTm? Pound the air out of JFF's lungs. Then pound him some more. He can be rattled. Gap discipline is important and use the three down lineman for contain and bring heat with blitzing LB's and thow a corner blitz or two in there just to make him think. You gotta get this kid to overplay to beat him. Also. Spy with your quickest LB or safety might work also. Beat JFF, you beat aTm.

This is all I'm currently worried about. I'm considering doing what I said I'd never do and wearing another team's icon for the week.

I will root for UGA, but I will do it as a Mizzou fan!

While it may have been funny, all the AU fans auctioned off to other fan bases last year, was just too much fair weather fan spineless behavior for me.

I've watched several Ole Miss and ATM games this season as I was hoping they'd be meaningful end of season games. I also wanted to become more familiar with OM since HCHF has been hauling in such amazing recruiting classes. Anyway, I've not done film analysis, but my feeling is that Mizzou matches up well with each team, and it is most important that ATM is at Faurot this yr. OM does have two outstanding playmaking wideouts, and everyone knows about Johnny Football, but if Mizzou can stay away from multiple turnovers, I think the opportunity to win each game is very doable.

Hopefully we are pretty healthy by the time we play y'all. Our injury list this year has been much like those of Florida and UGA. We beat LSU with a lot of our backups' backups, but that's a rivalry game, so it's a little different.

Out of our three losses, two could have gone in our favor. The Bama game was closer than it looked, but Freeze wouldn't kick field goals (and our kicker's good).

We use two quarterbacks, Wallace starting obviously, but Brunetti has surprised me. Usually you know it's going to be a run when he comes in, but he's thrown for a few touchdowns this year.

Our TE, Engram is out for the season, so that works out in your favor. Our receivers are good. Wallace threw for 407 yards against Arkansas, but we've had issues with our offensive line this year.

I'm excited for this game and to all who are coming, I hope you have a good time!

Don't sleep on OM dline they are young and banged up but they are very talented their secondary is soso but plays a bit over their heads. Bo is better than he gets credit for but he is hit or miss if he is on he's tough to slow down if he's off y'all will pick him off easily.

For us its simple win the track meet you gonna have to score 50 plus and that may no be enough seeing as its JFF and Evans last game I feel they wanna go out with a bang.

Good luck and here's to a good injury free ballgame.

Ps try and keep it in the 50's temp wise please

They also need to watch out for our RBs. They may be small, but they're fast as hell.

From what I understand, Ole Miss is healthier now than they've been most of the season. Their defense should be better than it has been the past several games. But one of their biggest strengths, their running game, plays against arguably our biggest strength - run defense. They'll have to beat us through the air, and I like our chances to put pressure on Wallace and force mistakes. I think this will be a good game.

I agree with some of the things that have been said about A&M. Establish the run game, and keep the ball out of JFF's hands. Mix up the coverages and blitz enough to make him think. Our ends need another monster day - get after him early and often. One thing I haven't seen discussed is that they're playing LSU the week before. That will be a very physical game, and they may still be a little banged up and sore from it. Which could play in our favor.

This is true but we are still missing our best pass rusher and 3rd leading receiver (b4 his injury) for the season.

For Mizzou to win it's pretty simple. Play disciplined football. Don't beat yourselves with penalties or turnovers on offense and on defense don't jump routes after Freeze calls his 6th straight screen bc that's when Moncrief or Logan will fake the screen and blast upfield for 75 yards.

For OM to win, we not only need to have an LSU-type performance from Bo we need our defense to have it's best game of the season. If this game was played early in the year I would have said our biggest strength is our deep dline (beat up with injuries, although people will play) and our biggest weakness is our secondary (which has been exponentially improved this season). We've got a thorpe award semifinalist in Cody Prewitt who could very easily have about 9 interceptions if he had any hands. Also our DBs have done really well against elite receivers so far this year. We held Mike Evans and OBJ to paltry numbers and the only guy who has burnt us so far has been Jordan Matthews.

There's a thread on the Rebel board where I scolded someone for assuming preseason that Mizzou was an autowin. I reminded them of how decimated you guys were last year. I've been looking forward to this game all year and I think it could be really great. Good luck to you ladies and gents
