Maybe I’m just tired of hearing Cooper constantly stroked, but Why we chucking endless 3’s down 4? Don’t get too excited with this team. Solid team, but not going anywhere in March.

Refs thought it was Michael Jordan.

We didn’t play smart. But cmon man.

Gritty team but flawed. Has anyone even hit a jumper in 2nd half??

No.

Pinson is really up and down. Just a complete no show. Team missed 6 FTs in a row going down the stretch.

I’m not sure staying on the road was smart. But whatever.

SEC refs man, every single call to Auburn. But a top 15 team should be able to overcome

Also, just a horrible game plan by Cuonzo for defending him. They just kept trotting out a straight man.

Even with the refs, we had a shot to win. Tilmon needs to make free throws and not miss dunks. Rest of the team needs to stop chucking 3s. That said, we win that game pretty easily if the refs call it evenly, no doubt about it

Auburn had 44 free throws and hit 36 and Mizzou had 27 free throws and hit 18 plus Tilly missed 8 of those. Without Cooper and the refs we still win by 15 on another bad shooting night for us.

That's the most free throws I seen Tilman miss in a game.
He is usually nails.

Cuonzo just isn't a high level coach.

This is our pinnacle under him. Not impressed.

Football team goes 5-5 lose their last 2 games big and Drink gets king type treatment and the basketball team is 10-3 and some wants to run the coach out of town.

Calm down people!

Dude, you take fan overreaction way too personal. Chill out. Could be worse, you could have fan apathy. As long as ppl overreact, they have passion.

Not really.

The one part of his game that has completely regressed. He’s shooting 50% for the year from the FT stripe. Almost 64% from the floor.

Drink is a first year coach. Cuonzo is in 4th year and like 13th year overall. I think we know what Cuonzo is.

Martin isn’t going to go very far with this not recruiting shooters thing he has going on. MU isn’t running the UVA system. And even if they were, they’d still need guys who could knock a shot down at the end of the clock consistently and make FTs.

I agree that Martin's recruiting hasn't been up to par. Either players don't want to come here or he needs to revamp his staff.(or starting spending some cash like everybody else) He has offered some pretty nice players that seem to stay and play for their home schools and become studs.

Here's his 2022 offer list:

Yikes...recruiting has slowed considerably. And there’s a trend of 4* guys that we actually do sign being run off in a year.

If this team was just a little bit better at hitting 3s, they'd step up another level I believe.
