Defense is stout for 2 quarters but gassed from being on the field for 75% of the possession time because Drink's playbook and Georgia defense result in multiple 3-and-outs on every Mizzou possession ...

Brady Cook gets sacked at least 6x, throws a pick-6 and Drink is dumbfounded that his constant desire to call plays on the perimeter don't seem to work in the SEC like they did in the Sun Belt ...

Halftime score: 21 - 0

We do get a glimpse of Sam Horn, sitting on the bench, wondering why he came to Mizzou to play with Luther Burden since he doesn't get any PT ...

Final score: 49 - 3

/Again, I hope I'm wrong (I was on the Auburn game) and we beat the Dawgs ... as living in GA and listening to their pompous fanbase is nauseating ...

That was a well thought out and honest post.

I share and understand your anguish.

It's not much fun to be a fan of a team that you hope " can keep it close" or " look respectable".

Such are the times for Mizzou fans right now.

Hope spring eternal though.

I'll be watching and rooting for Mizzou on Saturday. Unfortunately my Mizzou football fan experience has past the point of "Live Or Die".

Now its liver die .

27.5 point favorites, but I might take the under just because Kent State looked decent against them.

It could be a boring 28-6 type game.

38-10 UGA. We score a TD on either our first or last possession.

I predict I will be there with my sons on the 45 yard line, row 12 on our annual trip to see Mizzou. I will not allow Drink to ruin our weekend.

I can only assume that if there's a fatal car accident ahead of you on I-80, you'll pull over and force your kids to get close and view the bodies.

Have you no compassion?

42 Zip bad guys.

If the Mizzou offence scores a TD that has to be considered the win for the day.

48 points if Georgia decides to stop there.
We get 3.
They will have practiced hard all week to show that last week was a hiccup.

Georgia ain't as good as last year. Mizzou will hang around, keeping it within 2 scores for most of the game. Final score UGA 34 Mizzou 17

I don’t really feel like we can win, but making another 42-3 prediction is boring.

Mizzou 24-23 on last second FG from Mevis. Goalposts come down and head downtown.

Now that’s some sunshine pumping on a beautiful Friday.

Without Bailey, we wont have what it takes to stop the run AND cover their TE's. Which one do we let beat us?

Short of Drink having a seance to the ghost of Dan Devine ... I'm not seeing that.

My original prediction was more tongue in cheek and frustration with all coaches not named Baker.

UGA 2022 isn't as good as the 2021 version ...

So I could see a meandering Tiger team hanging around for 3 quarters and losing like their inaugural SEC game (that I traveled from GA to watch) ...

Actual prediction:

UGA 34
ZOU 20

Sam Horn throws 2 TDs (and 1 INT) and Mizzou fans wonder why a 2* QB has been playing for the first 5 weeks of the season over the highest rated QB to ever be recruited at Mizzou.

I think a lot of these predictions are reasonable. For some reason, I'm cautiously optimistic that we comfortably beat the spread (more to the credit of the D than the O - which I never thought I'd be saying this a year ago)

I will be in the HOUSE!

Also, I don't care what people say, when you have no present it is acceptable to live in the past:

Something I watch every couple of weeks when I get depressed

That’s not fare he didn’t have any star’s when he was offered. Because he was offered in July before his Junior year he jumped into the top 1000 and ended up at 745th best prospect. Thanks to the great recruiting by Odom we got a 3* that should have been a 2*. Probably could have got him as a Preferred Walk-on

To be fare he did get 1 more D1 offer from the Austin Peay Governors

Well my two favorite teams in the SEC are Arkansas and Missouri.

We play Alabama after completely shitting the bed against A&M. Y'all play Georgia after completely shitting the bed against Auburn.

I predict that I'll try to avoid watching more than a few minutes of each game. I hold out hope for at least one team to play above and beyond but I fear this could be a you are Warren Beatty in "Deliverance" style game for both teams.
