Missouri made a mistake hiring Odom and that hiring is going to haunt Missouri for awhile. Pinkel left Odom with some talent on both sides of the ball. Odom failed he had a good QB, good WR’s, and above avg RB’s. He was a terrible recruiter and left Drink with very little talent and no QB.

Drinkwitz is doing a good job recruiting and building offensive talent, but it’s really hard to make and build a game plan around a offense with no QB. It’s hard on the defense when the offense can’t sustain drives and gives them bad field position.

Yesterday his recruits at Appy State went to College Station and beat A&M.

He might be able to build a program if we give him time. If he does get fired after year 4 at least he will leave the new coach with talent.

He has recruited the QB of the future in Horn and has Gabarri Johnson committed. His first real recruiting class had one QB in it and he probably only recruited Macon to get Lovett and other East St Louis players. In his second class he got Horn and in his third he has Gabarri. The QB situation is looking better.

I will give him 4 years because Odom left him with nothing.

It’s really hard not to criticize your head coach when the team plays and looks terrible. Robinson, Bazelak, or Cook would not start for any other SEC school. Vandy doesn’t count, but they probably wouldn’t start there either.

Ummm, there’s this new thing that’s changing the game a bit. Perhaps you heard of it. It’s call the portal.

If you don't develop that talent and translate that into production, that talent will transfer.

And I really don't care too damn much about WR talent. We need much better OL and DL recruiting.

So far I am very disappointed in his play calling and his apparent lack of emphasis on the Strength & Conditioning program.

I don't want to defend the man, but its hard to call aggressive plays when your quarterback cannot execute them.

He is recruiting line talent (See Logan Reichart) but the lines cannot hold when the defense cheats up because there is no downfield threat. The defense cannot hold when they cannot get off the field.

Another problem: I hear whispers that the team wants Horn in. He may not know the playbook, but he can go downfield. ELi is stubborn about playing a freshman QB. BUt if he loses the team over it, it will be his head. And well deserved.

Drink did bring in an OL who was supposed to start for us but NCAA said nah. Not sure if it would have been enough to fix the OL tho.

Brady had no problem throwing the ball on our 2 min drill in the first half. Had about 4 or 5 competitions, even if they were all 5 yard throws.

My biggest issue is that it was all run designed plays for the first 15 plays of the game. like wtf was that. I get that Cook sucks at throwing more than 15 yards.

Our O line has not been very good so fix that then evaluate Cook. Did he play bad Sat? Yep

Horn is going to get ruined with Eli whether that's now or later it won't matter. Hell even Bazelak has a 128 qb rating in Indiana right now.

How much of that has to do with CB playing injured last year vs healthy this year

Reichert is a huge commitment. We need 2 of that caliber OL every recruiting cycle.

We aren't going to be successful trying to finesse and outmaneuver SEC opponents by alignment and motion for 9-10 wins a year.

Doesn't matter, it's not like Indiana is this vaunted offense. Eli hasn't developed a single qb during his time here and Horn will be the dagger proving it.

Against Idaho and Illinois. This week they play Western Kentucky which should be a close game. They will start 3-0 or 2-1 and may not win another game. Winning another game depends on how good Rutgers is and how bad Nebraska is. Rutgers beat BC week 1 and Nebraska fired Frost they may get better. His QBR will end up around a 60 probably lower.

Out of the QB’s Mizzou has had in his first 3 years Macon and Horn are his recruits. Cook committed 15 months before Drink was hired.

Macon is a 3* RS freshman and we don’t know about his development yet. I read that he has a good arm and can run the ball. I guarantee one of the reasons Macon was recruited is to keep the East St Louis pipeline going and to help sign Lovett and Keontez Lewis.

Bazelak played up to his potential and Cook just doesn’t have the potential to get a lot better.

Drink has had just 3 1/2 to 4 months with Horn. Not having him in the spring has hurt his development. It also blew the chance Horn had at being the week 1 starter and playing early in the season.

I flicking hate, and I mean HATE coaches who talk this shite. It's all good when the public has faith in you and ponies up for a new indoor facility (and yes I gave a corporate gift,) then he destroys that good will and then blames us because his offense sucks.

This isn't about huddling up with the other coaches, he'll the new DC kept the game close as long as he could. This is about his pride, and hiring an OC. Funny because there is another SEC coach who is his own OC and his offense sucks too. I see you Jimbo. Number 1 recruiting class, all kinds of money, and he won't get out of the way.

These are the words of a frustrated man. He should know full well that he's being paid millions to win games (and make the fans happy with a good product.)

After our KState shitshow, what the frick did he think fans would respond with?

This guy is losing me with this misplaced anger. A couple more losses and then he'll know real negativity. The dumb frickhead.
