Defense is outstanding

Hire an OC and give another QB a look already.

EVERYONE knew that punt would lead to not getting the ball back. You need to put 4 plays together to get 10 on that drive. Cook is not it and Drink’s playcalling is shite.

Offensive line killed 3 drives and probably cost us 2 TDs. I'm glad Cook is living his dream, but I think he is at his ceiling.

When else was he supposed to call it?

Take the number one team to the brink in a game everyone thought we would get destroyed and y’all STILL bitching about the coach.

Unreal

The guy needs to let go of the play calling duties.

I’m not sure that even warrants a response.

Have you not observed his play calling or are you predictably going to lay those misfortunes at the feet of the players?

You pick.

There aren't enough talents to get it done! That is why he is going to have to wait until Horn or another quarterback can throw downfield and have time to do it. Meani9ng OL got to do better. Next year should be when we see a much better team on offense. Give him time this year is a washup, so it doesn't really matter for this year.

Not enough talent?

bullshite. This is a team that had multiple opportunities to win against the #1 ranked team in the nation and made self inflicted mistakes from false starts to poor playcalling.

This game was very reminiscent of #1 Oklahoma vs us when we won. We came out hot and we're just able to keep the Sooners from their second half surge just enough to win.

It doesn’t warrant one because you don’t know what you are talking about. Bitching about play calling is low hanging fruit for fans that don’t know what they are looking at.

Which play calls did you not like? Then please follow up with what defense a Georgia was in at the time and what you would have called to attack said defense

Drink knows infinitely more about offensive football than any one on this board.

He called a great game last night. 6 scoring drives vs the #1 team with a poor OL and a below avg QB. Burden and Lovett both limited by injury.

And y’all STILL bitch. It’s amazing

I will say one thing positive.

The team hasn't given up on Eli when I thought they would.

You have no idea who the frick I am. Used to work in the AD at Mizzou. I also have coaching experience and I will leave it at that.

I am happy that you are thrilled with his play calling. Good for you. I’m not. And I don’t believe he is doing a good job in that area. I think he would be better served in delegating those duties.

I know your M.O. is to shite all over the players. But remember these are mostly his guys. And the defensive side the football-that Drink doesn’t touch- is doing well.

You want to speak solely on his play calling last night? Then go ahead and explain Auburn and Kstate? I mean they aren’t Georgia right? So what’s your excuse for the play calls there? By your logic we should have scored a TD on every series in those games.

After further thought, don’t. I really don’t give a shite. The guy can recruit and he is smart enough to leave the defense alone. Time will tell if he can reflect and improve in managing the offense.

100% correct. Focus on recruiting and managing the team. Bring in an OC. He is obviously in over his head.

Cook is not the QB.

Look at the clock management in the game. Look at the 3 passing plays he called, in an obvious panic.

Our defense was playing amazing. The offense was once again subpar.

He had the run game working, and for whatever reason ... went to the air. Just bizarre.

He is not an offensive genius.

Again, play calling is something that fans bitch about that don’t know what they are looking at. It’s an easy comfortable fallback for something to bitch about when in reality they know no more than whether it worked or not.

It’s just that simple. It’s not anything to be taken seriously. Is he perfect? No, that doesn’t exist but he’s getting paid 4M to do it while you’re bitching about it on a message board. That should tell you all you need to know.

The funny thing about this is how stupid the “play calling!” Fans are going to look if Sam Horn is that guy. I can’t wait.

Do the sports writers also not know what they’re looking at?

Who does know what they’re looking at?

Exactly. I am sure you could poll a huge sampling of college coaches and they would all tell you the same thing.

The run game was working last night and for whatever reason, Drink decided to air it out 3 times in a row. The timeout.
The 1 yard line false start.

Please keep defending him though. You're showing us all that you are a true football genius.
