Bump so I don't have to scroll down so far to check the cam.

Looks like new iron is going up starting now. I wonder how much gets put up before the season starts.

I think the plan was to have the framing completed at least by the kU game.

Harmon is putting in work.
Will be interesting to see what it looks like by the end of the season.

I'm hoping the construction crew can somehow create a "frick kU" out of bricks, or steel, or even toilet paper.

The Whiting Turner VP in KC is a KSU grad. So he might feel the same way as us for different reasons.
Harmon is out of Minny and they’re driving the bus on the curtain wall and facade. Best chance is the sheet metal crew from down the road.

I've seen some pics from inside and they are starting to frame suites and are installing duct work and conduit. They have come along way since the middle of July. At that time they were still forming for pours and the JLGs and support trucks looked like Hotwheels compared to the structure. Its going to be dope.

unfortunately the design is still undergoing changes. There is a small chance that construction will have to pause soon until engineering gets caught up but I think that is REALLY small.

Any insight on the changes? Seems late in the game to make any significant changes

I can't get too much into it but pretty standard stuff as far as engineering goes but there is always a chance that little things that pop up become big things.
Only other thing I can say w/out getting myself into trouble is that they are doing this NEZ project right. They have not cut anything out from the original plans and some things have probably gotten a bit better than they originally announced. This is the first time something will be as good or BETTER than what was announced.

Well that's good news. I was disappointed in the SEZ final design. It had a lot of potential

Yeah, Sterk half assed the south end. I'd like to see some upper deck wings on the west side to balance the place. Then maybe put another level on the south
Hundred mil here or there, you're starting to talk real money.

An opportunity for more pee troughs

The most baller thing ever would be if Drink invited the construction crew to watch the games from the NEZ seats even though it’s under construction. Would be awesome to see a bunch of guys in hard hats and vests sitting in those sections during games lol

They are supposed to be working around the clock only quitting 2 hrs before the gates open and resuming after the stadium is empty. Im sure a couple coolers full of Busch Latte' would be more than enough incentive for the crews to stick around and add to the atmosphere.

As a daily drive by for me - what I see just in passing by that's worth mentioning:
I'm almost certain they raised the level of concrete so that it's higher.
The northside is massive vs the southside, as expected.
