Idk if we get Ramey, but we better get someone who’s a decent PG in this class. We have some great shooters, but no PG to go along with them. We’re struggling big time to close out games against decent opponents.

We lose our best shooters though. This was obviously a massive rebuild and it's pretty impressive that we have improved even this much.

It will still be a few years before Zo really has his program in place. Hopefully Jontay doesn't bolt too early.

This season reminds me of Pressey’s last season. Both seasons Mizzou is a good team for the first 35-37 minutes. Neither team had a closer. 2013 was supposed to be Dixon, this season was supposed to be MPJ.

As long as Phillips isn't the replacement I'm good with it

Philips used to be serviceable. Now that the new coach hates him he sucks. Funny how that works.

Zo doesn't hate him, only his BB skills

He hasn’t adjusted to his role and Zo doesn’t like him. I’m not convinced it’s really about his basketball skills.

It's not about skills. It seems personal like Philips isn't the right kind of Christian or something. He was a decent point guard, now he's not.
Harris is gone so now his new role is backing up Giest

It's inexplicable and one of the more worrisome things Gonzo has done (along with walking into the visiting team's locker room)

At the end of the game it should be ran through Barnett. He is the best athlete and he can shoot and he is a average passer. He can drive or shoot a jumper.

You are right about Barnett being th best athlete, but he is not a creator.
In late game situations Mizzou needs to either play through Kash on the perimeter or Jontay.

The best defenders will be on Kash and the problem with Jontay is who is going to pass him the ball.

Barnett has the ability to shoot, drive, or pass on his way to the bucket. There are not to many 3’s in the SEC that can guard Barnett in every aspect of his game.

He is not the best player or most talented player on the team, but what he has now that he didn’t have in the past is confidence.

Barnett hasn’t show the ball handling or the ability to create his own shot.
Jontay is the most talented player on the team, or at least of those that play.

Why does Gonzo keep holding a towel over his mouth while he calls his point guards m'fukers on the sideline?
He's starting to worry me

Barnett is not a good enough ball handler to create. He can shoot, and he's a great athlete. His handle is weak though.

If we had more guards that could do it, then it wouldn't be an issue.

This board gives him trouble for losing games, no love for winning them?
