Which is worse, that or quitter Harris bailing on his team when they desperately needed him. What a punk.

There’s not exactly an alternative right now. I would run the offense at the end through Jontay, but he had fouled out.

We would have been better the last three minutes without him on the floor.

Why not inbound the ball to Robertson?

I didn’t see the ending. Did he frick up again like the Florida game?

Well, it didn’t work having Porter bring the ball down the court either. He dribbled it off his feet of course in my opinion, a 6’11 freshman shouldn’t be bringing the ball down anyway!

So, it’s Geist or Phillips, and he can’t stay in the game!

Yes. He didn’t use the screen, ran to the corner away from all his teammates and jacked a contested three at the buzzer.

Watching quite a bit of hoops, and pretty much all teams are just brutal at end of game situations UNLESS they have an elite PG which we obviously do not.

The play broke down when the screen action caused a pileup, but I just would have put the ball in Robertson's hands to begin with. If we are taking a "bad shot" then I want him taking it:

I don’t get why Harris didn’t see the weak competition in front of him and realize he’d eventually beat them out. It’s not like he was riding the bench the whole game.

I'm not sure I want anyone who is afraid of Jordan Geist.

Ramey is out there and he is an instant difference maker. Lock him up Zo. You were hired to bring in the best STL players and this is a huge position of need. Get it done.

Exactly! CCM wanted him to earn those minutes and grow as a player. Instead he punked out and ran.

I hate quitters

Who is the backup plan if Ramey goes elsewhere? Can Watson or Pickett handle the ball?

Top options now are Trent Williams (juco), Xavier Pinson (Simeon HS in Chicago) same HS as Woods and Tyger Campbell.

Campbell is a top 100 PG.
Williams seems to be the typical Cuonzo mold of a PG. big, physical and athletic.
Pinson has similar size. Might be a late bloomer.

Campbell is a longshot, but Mizzou is still kind of recruiting him.

I don't get the Campbell hype, but I would love to have Williams or Pinson. Pinson is a late bloomer that fits the pg description with his no look passes and he's developed a decent jumper whose not scared to penetrate the ball into the low post.
