#7 of his 15:

"...but I thought the comparison of college Lock to NFL Philip Rivers was pretty accurate. Big arm, big numbers. But where are the big wins?"

I read this yesterday and don't remember the poster. But Congrats!

Goff and Mahomes never beat anyone either, but they didn’t completely fall off the map like Lock does.

He’s got the talent to be great, but he doesn’t have the “it”...far from it.

Probably the first time I’ve ever mentioned either on this board, but they are both young QBs having success in the NFL that struggled to beat good college teams.

Is the correlation that difficult to figure out?

Mahomes didn’t beat a ranked team in college.

It certainly wasn’t Mahomes fault. He avg over 400 yards a game his last season and accounted for 53 TDS. He actually had conference stats worth a damn. Goff just had a pathetic Oline.

Lock is just pure shite against anyone but powder puffs. Much like Odom.

Under-The-Bus Barry strikes again!

NOTHING SPECIAL ABOUT TIGERS QUESTION: Have you ever seen worse special teams than Mizzou's? Punt return for a TD, FG blocks, punt blocks, accidental onside kicks, missed FGs, and that's not even getting into the almost last-place return game. What is going on? Is Odom's staff just that clueless?

BENFRED: It's not a great look for Andy Hill, who is in his first season as the team's special teams coach. It is the first time Mizzou has had a coach solely dedicated to the job. And it's hard to tell someone is solely dedicated to the job. Odom said the Kentucky punt return for a TD was poorly coached. That's an interesting phrase, considering there is one coach that directly falls back on.

I prefer that they would’ve let him fire Hill before this year. Keep handing him rope.

I prefer that they would have let him hire Hugh Freeze.

The SEC didn't want them to hire Freeze.

I know, but he’s a guy that you know for sure would put together a great offense. If Mizzou really wanted to win more than 6-8 games per year that’s the type of hire you have to make.

Did anyone remember the Alabama-Auburn game a couple years ago? When Alabama tried to kick a filed goal that was out of reach and Auburn players ran it back for a touchdown? That was on Nick Saban. He admitted he made a mistake there.

Thank you for making the point that a good coach like Saban owns up to his mistakes, while a coach like BO finds other folks to blame.

You do not know what really happened out there.

Really? He was hired at the worst time when the protest and other problems was going on at Missouri. Then had to replaced DC and now this year OC. Got to give credit for playing close games in all the losses except the Alabama game. Lost to 3 top 12 teams and the bad weather at South Carolina game messed it up big time. You love to give up without give Odom time to grow and learn and he does have his team playing much better than last year. How can you justify for close losses and team played hard in all games.

You know what you convinced me. But I have 1 stipulation. BO will be given more time to "learn" how to be a head coach, BUT,he has to give back half his salary to make up for the revenue losses during his "learning" period. So tonite after you're done polishing his knob, look up and ask him if he agrees to that deal.
