Other than Porters, they were all recruits during Mike Alden’s abysmal reign?

Tyler Hansbrough was recruited 15 years ago. The kids we are recruiting now were 1-2 years old when he was making his decision. Social media wasn't even a thing yet. His recruitment is hardly relevant anymore unless you want to just go with the tired argument that we will always lose to the blue bloods regardless of the surrounding factors.

Hansbrough was recruited during the Snyder debacle.

Otto Porter was recruited during CMA’s departure.

It’s instructive how important stability can be in a program. Either of these could be a number retired in our rafters given some coaching stability.

St. Louis blue chippers are a lost cause until a couple people die and we get some bagmen in the area.

Have heard many times Hansbrough wanted to consider MU, but had no desire to play for a cokehead.

Anderson just could not burn important energy on recruiting while getting ready for AR.

Wow. Dark. Not saying you are wrong, but that is dark.

There were only 2 people pushing kids not to go to Mizzou back in the 70's and it was for a good reason. Those 2 guys are deceased and they stopped their push against Mizzou somewhere in the 80's. You are wrong if you think it's anybody else. Especially if you think it's Tuna or DJ.

What was the good reason that the 2 pushed kids away from Mizzou?

Give me some Transfers

Is it bad I want to give Carte'Are Gordon a chance here? Yes, he clearly has a horrible mindset and many issues... but we gave Axel a scholarship? Give Cuonzo a chance to whip him into shape and help him realize his potential.

Either way, some reinforcements would be nice.

Yes. Charlie has been quite the ambassador for the Missouri basketball program.

I read there's mutual interest in a all conference shooting guard grad transfer from Bowling Green. He went to the same high school as Paulding.

I watched his highlights. He'd be a great get. I like that Bowling Green was good first off as well. So he was scoring 20 a game on a winning team that played LSU tough and beat Cincy last year. Has a smooth stroke and gets to the foul line a ton. He'd come in and contribute right away IMO. Scored 26 @ LSU.

Remember Harris? I didn't realize he already transferred again out of North Carolina St.

Justin Turner cuts hit list down to 3 (plus returning to Bowling Green which seems unlikely) Mizzou makes the cut. He was previously considering Xavier, Louisville, and Arkansas as well

I want him bad.

My only concern would be Cuonzo fricking it up. If that happened it should be Pinson, Dru Smith, Turner on the outside.

But what will happen would likely be Dru, Mark Smith/Pickett, Turner fricking it all up and keeping us from seeing the potential of Pinson and him leaving.

I can't imagine him picking a defense only coach

Would be a huge get. Would make for a very good backcourt with Mark able to fill in and truly just be a 3 and D type player. Could even run some 4 guard sets around Tilmon or Mitch with the rebounding ability of Mark and Dru.

Sure wish we could have kept Jackson. He’d make a lot of sense on that roster.

why is mizzou going after a GT guard so badly. Do we need him, of course, but not as much as a big.

Somebody from another forum says that we have a chance for this JUCO player. 6'5 swing guard.
