Mizzou gets 6'8 JUCO Ed Chang a good outside shooter and defensive player.

I've seen this kid alot when he was in high school here in Omaha. Typical Sudanese athlete, tall but rail thin and not very physical. Got used to being the tallest on the court and could swat some shots. But saw alot of 6'2" to 6'4" players just flat outmuscled him. Dont think he has the genetics to add alot of muscle. I don't really agree with this one for SEC play. IMO, mid major player. But hell I'm a baseball coach.

Why was he given an offer if he is not good fit in the SEC? Must be the coach could not get anyone else better?

He had offers from some absolute powerhouse schools. Besides Mizzou, his other offers were Eastern Michigan, Coastal Carolina, Cal Poly and SIU-Edwardsville.
We were lucky to land him with such stiff competition.

That's what I'm talking about. We don't need a whole bunch of talent. We just need 12 projects and over their careers, Cuonzo will coach them up.

Drew Buggs, 6'3" point guard, grad transfer from Hawaii has committed. Averaged 9.4 points, 5.3 assists, and 4.5 rebounds per game. Picked Mizzou over Iowa State and LMU. That completes the roster if all three of Smith, Tilmon, and Pinson come back.

But why?
If he forces Pinson off the floor ill be beyond pissed.

If Pinson comes back he and Dru Smith foul at an alarming rate that he will fit right in.

I hated it at first, but honestly mark is the weak link. He needs to come off the bench.
That being said, I’ve believed our biggest weakness is still the front court. That should have been addressed first.

Biggs is not a bad player but the fit is weird. Needed more of a scorer. We already have two point guards.

Anton Brookshire becomes the first commit for the 2021 class. 6'0" guard out of Springfield Kickapoo, #4 in MO and #161 nationally.
Offers: Missouri State and Wisconsin Milwaukee
I know nothing about him and the offers don't seem to match the ranking. Anyone with any insight?

Here's a RockM article on Brookshire.

Sounds like a great shooter, put up 33 against Oak Hill Academy, including 7 of 12 from 3. According to the article also has an offer from UNLV and was starting to pick up interest from Big 12 schools.

I like him. He doesn't have great athleticism or size, but competes and holds his own with the best when going head to head. Great shooter also.
