Well It is gonna be Marshall.

Anderson would be a solid hire, not first choice obviously but he would build a solid program Mizzou fans could embrace.

Provided he hires great recruiters

Really sounds like Alden is done with the Frank Haiths and Mike Andersons. No more 2nd tier coaches with no ties to Mizzou.
Either a Home Run with Marshall or a True Son that knows how to coach basketball.

I'm hoping for the home run. Nothing against Anderson, but I'm concerned about his recruiting ability.

You don't think he can find players willing to play defense and work together as a team? Really?

I didn't say that. I'm concerned about him recruiting successfully for a major D1 program, and that leading to fielding a competitive team in regular season and making deep runs into the NCAA tournament.

I am assuming you are new to college basketball. You don't need high profile recruits to win in college basketball. People worried about recruiting need to sit this out because they aren't going to be happy for the foreseeable future.

Fuller is Haith's recruiter. If he is part of this deal I think it's going to go well. Otherwise it's a big question mark.

No, darling, not new to college basketball. I just happen to think recruiting is also important. Just a different opinion than you, and I'm entitled to it.

I don't get the hate for Anderson.
Why is it such a stretch to believe that really good coachable talent would want to play for a coach who just won the Div II national championship?
Come on, people...that is actually a hell of a selling point. "I coached a team to a Div II national championship. Come play for me at Mizzou and help us win our first Div I national championship."

Lolz
Of course he can. Will they be McDonald All Americans? Will Jayson Tatum or Jimmy Whitt come play for Kim Anderson?

I don't get why they would play for Marshall and not Anderson.

You're high.
We need better Xs and Os. But we will still need Jimmys and Joes.

I'm not sure they would play for Marshall. But I think his reputation as a coach nationally would be a positive.
