Got some quality commitments lately but need to get more.

To the people that follow recruiting, is it concerning that we don't have more commits or are they going after fewer numbers since the portal?

When the games are being played and everything is looking great then that is the time to get more commits and might get some flips as well and then some from portal as well. I am a true believer he will get it done at the end of the season.

Williams Nwaneri
Please make this happen!

Nwarneri is going to announce on August 1st. He has cut it from 5 to 3 teams. He has dropped TN and Oregon. He has Mizzou, Georgia, and Oklahoma in his top 3.

I think the biggest hurdle we have is his coach Jamar Mozee played at OU. OU offered Jamar’s son Isaiah before his sophomore year. Isaiah was offered a few weeks before Cayden Green’s official visit and the Nwarneri offer.

My guess is the only reason we got Membou is because he wasn’t offered by OU.

Huff is announcing at 6 PM today. Question is, do we troll Arky on the recruiting board if the pick is indeed Mizzou?

Huff committed to MIZ. Great add. If we could get Nwaneri and Wingo this class would be turned into awesome

Always, it takes such minimal effort to make them big mad.

Ryan Wingo commitment date is 12/20. He has had visits with Georgia, Michigan, Missouri and Texas. He plans on going to visit Tennessee, Michigan, and A&M.

Missouri- “I’ve been to Missouri more than anywhere else and I have a really good comfort level there. My brother is there and I know a lot of people on the team. They have Luther Burden and some other good young players and I like the direction the program is going. It’s the local school and it would be fun to be hometown hero and my family can see me any time but at the time, it’s a business decision for me and I have to do what’s best for me short term and long term.”

With the NIL Burden is getting it could help keep him at home.

In other words, which school pays me the most.

That's today's recruiting: a business decision.

Just like his offense, Drink tries to get too cute with tweets. I'm sure this all makes sense in his head.

Or player and agent requirements severely limit what he can tweet.

Yeah, I wish he'd just leave off. But I suspect the kids like it.

Drink retweeted Nwaneri's, Wingo's, and McClellan's tweets from when Mizzou originally offered them. I like the move but to me it indicates that none of them are solid to Mizzou - it's more heavy handed than past tweets and seems like a sales pitch/ recruiting tactic

Also interesting that UGA fans on the recruiting board are saying an insider is reporting that Mizzou has the best NIL package for Nwaneri. I find that very hard to believe that Mizzou could outbid everyone for the top defensive recruit in the country. At best you'd think we'd match the blue bloods' offers and try to sell him on staying close to home

It's a bidding war, with current legislation in the respective states giving us an advantage.
