#2 recruit in NE, *4 LB Devon Jackson might be worth watching. He is apparently good friends with Woods. Mizzou didn't make his top 5, but he was also considered an ASU lean before news of their NCAA investigation, so I would think he will be reevaluating his options

This is the most excited I’ve ever been for recruiting. Drink is pretty much changing the idea of what Mizzou football can be. Raise the ceiling one step at a time.

Re: Cardinals, I don’t think it’ll be difficult to compete against them if they continue their current trajectory. The FO is content with remaining average. The Chiefs OTOH are a whole kettle of fish.

Need all the LB talent we can handle. Get Woods talking to him. Time to slide right into that ASU spot.

The kid also won the state 100 and 200 meter Sprint. He is an Illinois legacy on both sides and an Uncle. Wouldn't even consider ND because of cold weather. He and Woods are friends but not best buddies or anything. ASU is obviously out, Miami is the favorite.

Cardinals are so much arse right now. They’re at least five years away from competing for anything of relevance, which for Cards Hx, is NLCS and the WS.
Drink and Mizzou should hammer the Lou with marketing the FB team.
It’s a quick drive to CoMo.

Now that we got the TX rb, not sure if Himon will commit. He's looking at Vandy and Northwestern and commented that Mizzou was a step-down academically. So with a 4 star commit he's probably going elsewhere. The EStL CB announces on the 11th. He's probably ours.
