Wooten says that Haley says he’s coming back.

The relationships they have built are with their position coaches. I can understand the olinemen leaving to play for Davis. For both DEs to call no joy when their position coach is staying is strange.

The website still lists Walters, Gibbs and Haley on the roster. It also has the new hires.

The Cooper Davis situation is beyond weird.

Some nuggets from the MHCA. 5-6 coaches will be recruiting MO. Sounds like the high school coaches are really liking Drink.

Wooten's first comments were about believing in Coach Odom. Maybe Davis was also more attached to Odom than Haley. Defensive End play did not look great, so maybe Haley had no juice with these kids and it was Odom that was the closer.

Is there that much SEC talent to merit that type of commitment?

That won’t be the only area that they will recruit. And every year there have been 15-20 recruits from Missouri that go P5.

Get most of the ones that you want each year and recruit Texas and the south to fill out the roster has to be the goal.

That's not Wooten saying it. That's a website.

I would love to keep Curry and Young and woo Wooten back on board. It would be a miracle to get Doyle, Hester and St. John back on board.

There’s a 6’4 receiver that Drink was recruiting at App State that I would take.

McGee wasn’t retained. Have to look somewhere else for a receiver this year
