I'm glad to hear he's found another course to settle in at. They did him dirty when the city sold that place. From what I understand none of the employees had any idea it was coming.

Y'all are gonna have to help me out with the names of courses in Starkville. I haven't played there in 8+ years.

Harold was driving from Jayess, MS everyday, which is like an hour and a half drive to jackson. Now he works at a nice course and has a thirty minute drive, so not too shabby.

You know I'm in. I'm an 11 index right now. I can shoot a 80 or a 95, depending on the day.
MSU course is gonna be pretty much the only option in Starkville. Luckily, I think it's the best option.
The Links is alright, but only 9 holes, and not the best shape. Starkville CC is private.
Elm Lake is right outside Starkville, but isn't anything to write home about from what I've heard.
I would be down with it being in Tupelo or somewhere within an hour or two of Starkville/Oxford.
ETA: Whoops. Messed up the handicap. Should just be 11.

I don't know my handicap. Haven't been playin. Probably would shoot upper eighties if i walked out and played right now. Last time I scrambled, it felt like I shot about par though.

I would tend to agree that the State course would easily be the best one to play in Starkville. I would seriously doubt that anyone around here has the pull to get us all on out at Waverly but that would be fricking
I'm not sure about my handicap. I haven't played regularly since it got cold. I would say about 18 (bogey golf) because I shoot between an 88-92 most days. It can be worse and better but that's about the norm.
If we're playing a scramble, what would be the point in individual handicaps though?

I'm just curious more than anything, but in the case we have a bunch of people wanting to participate, we may try to form multiple teams accordingly.
And getting this many on at Old Waverly isn't going to happen unless someone here has some major OT balling-type connections. That would be incredible.

Yeah. Someone would be swinging a big d*** if they pulled that off.
State course would be perfect. We would need to get some tee times in advance for SBW. I'm sure it'd fill up fast. I am pretty good friends with the two asst. pros and could talk with them when/if we get this set up.
Closest to the pin prize on #10. I'm gonna ace that hole one of these days.

Depending on the time/place I'd be down.
Never swung a golf club outside a put put course, though, so I'd just be beer drinking and golf cart driving.

Not sure if it's been noted, but Super Bulldog Weekend is also the weekend of the State-OM baseball series. So it'd be a good time for the ReBears to come down.

that's why we were talking about it.
