It's farther than Oxford for the Memphis crew, but I think most state posters would vote for Starkville on SBW.

Otherwise, Oxford seems like a more "central" location.

We can always hit one of the casino courses and then go gamble.

Dancing Rabbit or Tunica National.

I've played TN but not DR. I've heard good things though.

Exact opposite for me.

DR is real nice. Challenging too. I played it back in May of last year. It was a really fun course. They had their bentgrass greens rolling fast.

TN was a challenge because I was on a bachelor party with about 6 guys out there that never play.

I do remember it being very deceptive. A LOT of sage grass to lose balls in when it looks wide open. You can get in trouble quick there.

DR is about the same, except with creeks. I had a bunch of nice drives roll out into creeks all over the course.

Lot more elevation change than I would have guessed too.

Pretty much this tho I have been known to be clutch in scrambles. My short game isn't pathetic.

That is surprising considering the location.

While the DR/TN ideas sound fun, it would be more of an actual home and home for us to play the two university courses since the majority of both sides have probably never played the other. Also it would be cool to do it on the big weekends if we could get the tee times.

Nothing drastic, but there are a few uphill holes. And elevated greens.

I'm down with that. And I'm down with meeting up other times to play DR or TN with some guys.

There are quite a few nice ridges off of the Pearl River through Neshoba County. DR is only about 2.5 miles away.

shite, being in Meridian that's a short drive for me so I'd be down for that whenever.

I'm hoping to do it sometime soon once the damn weather warms up.

I'll find you on here and give you a shout before I head down there.
