I got a feeling we pull the upset. We need to grind them hard this week. They are beat up a little and we play in Starkvikle. We have never grinded Alabama.

It's time. Flood the SEC rant with your shitposts. Let's do this. David brings down Goliath this Saturday in Davis Wade Stadium

You have eaten too much fermented catfish bait.

Bama is going to put 9 in the box as we will be unlikely to complete a forward pass, our only shot is ST and the D stepping up big time and putting up some points.

Agree. I have a little hope because our defense is capable of scoring. Hoping we can get an early pick six or something to give us some momentum and give us a punchers chance. That being said, I was at UGA and saw us come out timid and lost with no chance. Unfortunately I'm still one who believes Bama is a good but better than UGA.

We have to rely on Grantham calling the game of his life and giving the offense short fields to work with.

I think we have gotten better since the UGA/AU games.

Also we play much better at home

While true in general it is a bit difficult to move the ball when the entire recieving core is injured to some degree.

This is not setting up well for us if we can not back the safties up with a bit of passing, we do not have the talent to simply impose our will and cram the ball down Bama's throat, hope I am wrong.

The only way to beat Jalen Hurts is to put a spy on him.

Hurts aint our problem, scoring more than 10 points and trying to keep the D off the field is.

I want to get pumped up for 3 reasons
1) It's at DWS
2) Common opponents
3) Alabama defense is banged up
1 reason why we will lose
1) Saban

As I dont like to post anything negative about our players I am going to simply say that they struggle when 100% healthy as a unit and we are far from 100% healthy, lots of walking wounded right now.

Would maybe be a different story if we had healthy WR's, but we are literally missing our top FOUR. Combine that with your best safety being out for the first half.

Not what you want in a game where you know maintaining a threat to pass down field, and being able to move the chains from the pocket, is essential.

We need everything to go our way. If they hit a deep route early it's over.

That hurt. At no point during that game did I see evidence of Alabama being the better team.

What am I saying, feel like I'm taking crazy pills but we dominated up front and pounded the run game.

Going to be a special season next year. This team is short an elite DB and some elite WR talent, both of those are on next year's team.

I agree we'll have a special team next year.

Every year, 1999, 2014 & 2018, we have a Good team, we have to play @ AlaBama.

In the end-Bama has the better team. Simply put, they have better players. it doesn't matter how much State pushed them around all game long. When it really counted-when the game was on the line in the final minutes-they made the key stops on defense..and their playmakers made the plays that were needed. State hung with them-no doubt about that!!!
