Just found out my wife is pregnant (no joke). Her doctors (more than one) said it was not going to happen "naturally" (health, age, etc.), but frick me, just saw the heart beat (at eight weeks the child resembles a tiny razorback).

I need the Dr. Killz column for advice, but more importantly I need Mizzou at full strength. If my child is born under the sign of the Eagle I will never recover.

Begging is both the lowest and highest form of asking based on the asked. Please Chicken.

Here's my best impression:

Mr Garfield the kitty cat,
Do not be a kitty cat and worry about what has yet happened. The powers that be in this vast and depressing universe will honor your child's destiny. Whether that be razorback, elephant, human being, or vegetable. Only one thing is certain in this life and it is strange things happen in the midst of adversity.

Your favorite poster of the universe,
Star Warrior

Thanks boss. Pretty stoked. Last Doctor we visited (about six months ago) told me "it's not going to happen."

I will love it even if it is a razorback.

Still can't really believe it. Wife really (really squared) wanted kids (for a long, long time) but I have always been fairly laissez-faire. Really exited now though (can't believe this fricker will have a kid).

It'll happen bro

My wife's middle brother was born only because they moved from Mass (where docs told her only way to live was to have an abortion, she is Catholic so it didn't go over well) and she moved closer to her Mother in Bama and had him ok

My Aunt was married for 20 years to a man who couldn't conceive children, got divorced about 10 or so years ago and remarried to another man her age (in their 40's at the time we like him a LOT better lol) and despite every doc and gyno's FIRM warnings and cautions and has had 2 wonderful boys at the age of 42 and 45 and both are now 6 and 9 and both healthy great kids and she's fine.

And now the final story of triumph, My mother had wanted to have kids from the very moment she married my Dad and after a few years really tried and struggled, had 9 miscarriages carrying 3 full-term in a 8 or 9 year span, the last one actually started having the complications at a wedding of her best friend and drove her into such a deep depression that Dad almost lost her and it wasn't until 3 weeks later and she found out she was pregnant again, at 35 after trying since she was 25 and she was optimistic but cautious but also felt that this one was different and tells that in the story to this day. Well 9 months later little Bucc was born and she named me Matt meaning "Gift from God". I was premie (wouldn't think that now lol) and had my share of complications to enter into this world, but turned out ok and a couple years later she even had a little girl, my sister without any trouble, it just wasn't time yet when SHE wanted but a way was made.

It'll happen bro I'll be praying and you keep your head up

Thanks for all your support in getting me unbanned as well I didn't even ask and you went to bat for me
