The team boards were created because the SEC Rant is a flame/troll fest in the off season.

Take away recruiting and sunshine pumping and the SECrant is left with flamefests, jff threads, and lsu schedule threads during the offseason.
I pretty much agree with this.
So basically if we want to discuss our team with other SEC fans, we have to wait for someone from a different team to start the thread.

How it started, IMO
1. Arkansas gets a little good, and their fans feel the need to make ridiculous, arrogant threads.
2. Other teams respond and do the same
3. Posters begin attacking every other fanbases' threads
4. More intelligent posters enter threads, complain about how OP is terrible, it used to be better, ect. But the point is, they weren't adding quality contributions themselves. Just making it worse
Over time, this became all the SEC Rant is, and everyone now thinks every single thread is either a flame or a boast.

honestly the sec rant was a flame troll fest before arkansas was worth a shite. It's been like that as long as i've known about this site.
