If he is banned, it's for calling out a single poster for like the 10th time

Just because his avi is gone doesnt necessarily mean he is banned. He plays that game every now and then

He was there when I went to lunch, unless I missed something he should still be there.

I've read elsewhere on the rant that
quote:
"threads asking for posters to be unbanned actually prolong them coming back."

Then why would they have this Thread

I hadn't seen that, I don't go the TD OT-Lounge often. Maybe it's to create a false sense of hope?

That's the only one I've ever seen and I saw that as more of a mass reinstatement thread where essentially amnesty was granted virtually all banned posters (except the permabans) and they wanted to make sure they got everyone back to give a fresh start. In a way I suppose it could suggest that lobbying could help have a banned poster reinstated but my overall sense is they pretty much determine what the suspension is going to be on an individual case-by-case basis and stick to it.

I think we're due (based on how they're normally spaces out) for another reinstatement thread.

Then maybe there is something to the lobbying or maybe they want everyone to lobby when they make the reinstatement thread but I was thinking I had seen posters reinstated from time-to-time outside of a mass reinstatement.

TBH I don't know that there are any clear cut rules relating to the issue (as well as some others) as a lot of things seem to get made up as time goes along and not enunciated anywhere; discretion I guess.

Lol they don't give you a fresh start... The longer your rap sheet, the shorter the leash you're on.

After coming back from a ban one time I was told I have one of the longest rap sheets in the tigerdroppings community and that played a large part in my ban that time... I can provide a link of this if necessary.

This is an informative thread.

When I said fresh start I meant they were letting those banned to get back on. As far as prior sanctions, repeat offenders, and that kind of thing, I didn't know if someone had a record that the same was taken into account if they got in trouble again but that makes sense.

I haven't been around long but I am surprised you have done anything banworthy based on the posts of yours that I have read at least.
