I completely agree. Despite the reputation I have had a reasonable conversation with EVERY fanbase (except UK) in the SEC on the Rant at some point.
What happens is there are windows of opportunity. Like for Arky, I had the really good conversations with them before King Hog fell off his bike. That shut them down. Or USC, haven't gotten a damn thing out of their fans outside of our team board since Kenny killed them.
Do I think Chavis shut the LSU window for a while? Yes, but what is nice is that EVERYTHING gets settled this year.
LSU beats A&M and wins 10+ games? Steele was an upgrade, Les made the right move, LSU keeps rolling and A&M starts putting something away for that buyout in 2016.
A&M beats LSU? Chavis was an upgrade for A&M, Joe was an idiot for letting him walk, and LSU starts saving up for Les's buyout.
In a few months the window will open again and there will be reasonable conversation to be had. Hell we REALLY could have been bonding this offseason (what I have heard about Brick would make you die with laughter), but Chavis had to happen. I will just look forward to the next window.

I've seen four or five different fan bases complain that theirs is trolled/flamed more than any other on here.
I think Bama is top-5 or top-6, but LSU, Tennessee, A&M and OM are all flamed as much or more, and Missouri & Auburn aren't far behind.

I'm Very thick skinned and I don't post here a lot because there is no serious discussion here most of the time.
Sundays during football season is very bad but every team gets trolled. What happens is that fans from other teams that don't usually post here google "LSU message board" and get link to here. 90% of the time it's solely to troll if they beat LSU.
