Well his mighty O did manage to score 3 points against UGA. But this is a more talented team than ms st. It will be interesting to watch unfold.

Mississippi State has an average of 26 for recruiting classes, Georgia has 6th.
He has an excuse to get blown out, Georgia doesn't (see Auburn). Georgia recruits at or better than Auburn and got blown out, MSU recruits 20 slots worse (at best) than Georgia. Now it's only about 7 - 10.

Man, you guys have no idea what it's like to lose an NFL back -- let alone two.
Todd Gurley says hi. Lost to suspension, ACL, and the draft.
Sony Michel says hi. Lost to shoulder injury.
The solution was our 4th string running back named Nick Chubb.
UGA is fine at tailback.
We have a great one in Swift.
We have 2 questionables in Holyfield and Herrien (look great, but haven't been tested in the 1st and 2nd quarter like Chubb,Swift,Holyfield).
And 2 great recruits in Cook and White.
UGA will pass the ball more next season. The balance might not equate to 34 ppg. Or it might get better (less ball control leads to more plays per game).

Hey dipshit, it’s in the part that you quoted from me. But again, I don’t think he will replace them. But did you hear the narrative about having to replace Gurley? We turned out okay.
It still takes time to implement your schemes and the first years are always the hardest.

Todd Gurley left in 2014, 2015 saw a blowout loss to Jim McElwain's Florida, a loss to Tennessee and a blowout loss to Alabama and a six point overtime victory against Georgia Southern.
After two modest performances in narrow victories, Chubb sprained his ankle in game 4 against Ole Miss and was used sparingly over the next five games. Georgia went 1-4 in that period, the sole victory coming over South Carolina behind Chubb's 121 yards and two touchdowns (along with Sony Michel's 133 yards).
Weird, every year has some form of dropoff when you lose an NFL running back.
Now you're about to lose two at the same time.

Gurley rushed for 900 yards 2014 then Chubb turned around in 2015 and ran for 1100.
You can list the team wins and losses all you want but we both know one player is not to blame for those for a whole season. But if you want to blame anyone for the 2015 season it’s going to be our poor qb play with Lambert not losing a first round rb.

Whatever man. We’re just talking here, it’s not like I am being a dick about it. Just providing an opposing view. You guys see what happened to Muschamp and to you folks it’s automatically going to happen to UGA and that we’re definitely going to slide backwards

Muschamp won a much harder schedule when the teams he played were actually good.
Why did Auburn beat you guys like they beat ULM? Just curious.

Uga could win the title and you’d tell us they are a flash in the pan.
Honestly the issue isn’t uga. Uf sucks and has soft sucky players. Uga will pound ufs shite in till that is rectified.

UGA played bad. It happens.
UGA could win 30 straight and 2 national titles, and you'd come up with some reason to discredit it.

Played bad? You have seniors all over the field, especially on defense -- they gave up 488 yards. Your star running backs were held to 46 yards and that's a great, gentle narrative to fall into.
Retreat back to the ''only Georgia beats themselves'', because it sounds nice. That's not what happened, you guys didn't play ''bad'', Auburn beat you on both sides of the ball and the most important part: You guys got outcoached. Period.
Because outside of Auburn, you only faced one real coach the entire year.
In the East, you had Muschamp, McElwain (gone), Butch (gone), Lil' Stoops, Odom and Mason. That's...a laugher of a group. Now you're with the big boys, and we'll see if Kirby holds up in the heat or melts.
I'm predicting a melt, but not shocked if Georgia wins against Oklahoma, but I'd be shocked if you guys took Alabama or Clemson. Then, Georgia is ''officially'' a problem, because it means that Kirby can gameplan around the raw talent that he has.

Okay.

We schemed bad and played bad. We made adjustments in the second game and won.
Would you not agree that a major difference between Champs teams and our team is we are set up better offensively? We don't have to break in a new OC each year and we have an established qb who is a game pretty good game manager.

Not hard to adjust when their best player is visibly hurt.

If Muschamp had Chubb and Michel, he might still be coach. That offense is definitely set up better, but not because Kirby has magically developed some players. Muschamp had Gillislee, man, he actually had to gameplan because the offense was so poorly set up.
That's a difference, a major difference. Can Kirby actually scheme well? At least you admitted that you guys were poorly scheming for Auburn, that's a good start to this conversation.
As a P.S., I hated Muschamp. Like, I wanted him gone even after he went 11 - 2.
Now it's like I'm watching a rewind -- and shoot, man, you guys could win it all. I'd be shocked, and it'd destroy my argument -- but I'm saying let's all hold our horses until you guys actually beat Oklahoma and Clemson/Alabama before we start going off the rocker and saying that this is the second coming of Saban. (Not directed at you, obviously, but the numerous Georgia 'fans' who have just now taken an interest in Georgia football. )

At the end of the day UGA won the game that mattered most. They're SEC champs. Kerryon Johnson not being 100% doesn't change that fact anymore than Demarco Murray missing our NC game changes that we won. Also if Mullen has an excuse to lose to UGA because of the talent difference what does it mean when he got beat by South Alabama? You can't have it both ways. Just like when we argued about Mac winning the east. The east being bad isn't Kirbys fault. Just like when Meyer ruled the state when FSU and Miami sucked. You deal with the hand you're dealt. Kirby slaughtered the East. Then slaughtered AUB. Let's hope coach Mullen gives the dawgs a run for their money.

WTF with all the Leg Humpers on this board. Doesn't no one guard the gate?
Georgia suxs and will suck again, soon. Enjoy your one season since 1980 of relevance. Next year we kick that arse again.
But seriouly, UG fans should really get the F off this board and go play with the other Butt Sniffers on the UG board or on tRant.
Bye, don't let the door hit you on the arse on the way out!

Dude I thought you were gone for good? Lulz if you think UGA will suck soon given how much talent they're getting. They're getting better not worse. UF has to catch up soon. I hope we beat them but given the talent gap im expecting a loss.

Uga May have 15 five stars in the two deep next year. UF May only have 1.
The talent differential is staggering.
Add in how soft uf has become and it doesn’t bode well.

No, just trying to not take this crap as serious.
I have been happy to read some of your positive comments lately. There may be hope for you after all.

See, TJ, this is where you lose me. McElwain ''slaughtered'' the East until this year and did it when Florida was in a talent slump. You couldn't wait to tell us how bad of a coach he was.
Kirby almost lost to Nichols State last year. He almost lost to Kentucky last year. He lost to Vanderbilt last year. Got obliterated by Ole Miss.
This year the East is amazingly bad, perhaps the worst it's ever been since the inception of the East.
The TJ I know would be talking about how LSU on the road doesn't mean anything because we got blown out of the water the other games. Again, this is why I doubt your fandom day in and day out. You chat up Taggart until Mullen eats his lunch, you chat up Georgia like they didn't have one of the easiest schedules all year.
Did you know the East only has one defense better than 50 in the entire division? (Florida at 30)
Did you know the East only has one offense better than 100 in the entire division? (Missouri)
100, TJ.
Kentucky is ranked 103.
Vanderbilt is ranked 104.
South Carolina is ranked 108.
Florida is ranked 111.
Tennessee is ranked 124.
They have literally built their best season on the corpses of the weakest P5 Division ever I'd be willing to wager with those offensive numbers.
5 out of 7 times, 5 out of 6 opponents are ranked in the hundreds on offense. If McElwain won with that, you would never shut up (and never did shut up) about SOS.
