I think he gets fired if we lose at home to Ole Miss and we are 6-5 or worse then. Might not get the FSU game to close out his resume here.A loss to Miami or A&M at home early and he is basically a dead man walking.

I thought the Gator Made program was molding these players into young men of integrity and that Billy only recruiting players with character?

CBN needs every body he brought into the building to maybe win enough games to keep his job. No way this kid gets booted from the team.

I hate losing players as much as anyone but anyone who makes these choices, driving with a suspended license, hit and run, evading police, driving 150 MPH will be the same guy that throws a shoe after a third down stop or spits on an opponent after the play is over. To me the smell of Urban Meyer and what he allowed to take place in his time at UF is still in the building. I never want to see that again even if it costs us a championship. Standards need to be set and examples made for those who don't meet them.

Go Gators!

I think the kid faces in-house treatment (suspended for like 4 games) + whatever pretrial diversion and community service hours.

Can't argue with the results, I also liked Charlie Pell, both were "The end justifies the means" guys. While both had success on the field, both also left UF with big black eyes. Spurrier on the other hand, did it right.

Some power rankings...

Crazy stuff...we are listed below 9 of our opponents.

Don't see that but think 5-7 or 6-6 is possible again for Napier. 6-6 with the freshman QB taking over mid-season might save him though if he looks like the real deal.

Well the problem isn't just Napier. Who do you hire if you fire Napier?

Kiffin is already making 9 million and only 2 coaches make more than 10 million really. Dabo at 11 mil and Kirby at 13 mil.

I would rather be the coach at Ole Miss for 9 million than the coach at Florida for 11 million. Nobody is fricking with him in the Ole Miss compliance dept.

We needed a Kiffin when we hired Napier and then found out LSU was never after him. Not sure what Kiffin does as it's ego now and he likely could never win a NC at Ole Miss due to talent limitations compared to other SEC teams. Not sure if our big boosters would even allow a hire like him.

I'm excited about this season because it'll bring clarity one way or another:

Either we are very good and Napier gets an extension, or we shite the bed again and get a new coach. I'm hoping for the former. But either way we'll have some clarity.

A mediocre 6 or even ugly 7 win season is probably the worse that could happen, because we still won't know what we have with this group of players and moreso the coaching staff.

While I personally believe that we will win more than 8 games, a lot of fans will be satisfied with 7 wins with the toughest schedule in the nation.

More than wins, I want to see improvement in both the play and the coaching.

Go Gators!

7 solid wins, no ugly losses and getting the young guys experience (Lagway, McCray, etc.) may be enough to keep the fans interested.

Need to show that we can win 9-10 games the following year, otherwise what are we doing?

If anyone still has faith in Napier to fix this, they're delusional. Do what needs to be done immediately
