How are we feeling about the Ole Miss game?

I’m excited about this matchup. Ole Miss is stacked with elite talent and took it to LSU more than the score showed. I don’t know if they were playing high on emotion or if they are legit top 5. UF on the other hand showed signs of being elite but I agree with HCJS that penalties must be fixed. I think the defense will improve over last week. If UF can play defense by having a strong offense, then I think the Gators get the win. I think the offense can score on every drive if the penalty issue is solved. Baugh is a true Heisman contender and if teams stack to stop them then Philo can throw the ball around like Wuerffel. I’m probably saying some obvious stuff here but its how I see it. My gut says Gators win this one.

I feel pretty good, but I am known as a 100% homer. Home crowd will be huge. We should be able to run and pass against their defense. Our defense needs a couple stops or turnovers. prediction UF 35 - Ole Miss 28.

Just need to contain Chambliss and not turn the ball over. Their O is not explosive and they’ll be without Lacy (game time decision my arse with a bye week next week). Their D is not good, at least on paper, and very weak against the run.

They are really good, but I like they are still talking about LSU. That's right, no game on Saturday you need to worry about, just keep basking in that LSU win...

I know their fans are still talking LSU, but if the players are still doing that then they have no idea of what is coming. I bet The Swamp is going to be crazy. Probably old folks yelling and screaming along with the students.

Let's see how the OL holds up against Echoles. Rush defense against Lacy is a tougher task.

Should be a good game. Teams like Ole Miss always have a chance if their QB is playing good. I am hoping we can control the clock a little and that our secondary is ready.

It all depends on the OL. Improved unit but tougher DL play as the season progresses.
