Shut up, dumbass.
I actually am a Mike White fan but if you don't think he's immune to criticism after a huge blown lead or not living up to expectations then you're an idiot.

Some criticism is fine. But most on here want him fired. Big difference.
We have a bunch of dumbasses in our fan base that believes we can really do better. Truth is we will just hire another up and comer and repeat the cycle.

Foley isn't here. We cant know who Scott would go after. The logical coach would be Grant I would think.
We will see how we finish. Hopefully well. But it's hard to argue he has been anything but average at UF so far and at some point, needs to get to the next level as a coach. SEC banner needs to be up there soon for sure.

I’ve been on his side until today.
I’m sorry but blowing an 18 point lead to a somewhat less talented UK team compared to most years missing their starting PG and having their leading scorer foul out and be a non factor is inexcusable.
Edit: No one wants to hear this, but blow a first round SEC Tournament game against Ole Miss or UGA? I think UF will be in dangerous territory if that happens.

I 100% agree box if they lose to ole miss or uga on Wednesday they do not deserve to be in the tournament.

Mike White is the Will Muschamp of basketball.
Let's skip the Mac phase and hire our basketball program's Dan Mullen.
That's Anthony Grant.

We'd make the tournament even with a loss to OM or UGA
Still... Our program appears to be settling into a perennial 10-seed despite having 4* and 5* talent spread out across the roster. Negative recruiting against White is going to start to be effective considering Brad Beal is still the last player to have been drafted out of our program. If we're content with White we're risking the long-term viability of the program.
We can do better and thinking otherwise demonstrates a complete lack of faith in what Donovan proved is possible here.

He’s lost at least 13 games three years in a row. The program is stagnant and not moving forward.
I’ve said before, given time he may improve but something isn’t working right now.

Hes not going anywhere this year, not with the extension he just got.
But if only Nembhard leaves, he MUST make a deep run next year.
If not, Stricklin HAS to let him go.

He's more likely to get worse than to get better. Donovan set us up for success -- let's not frick it up

Goodman called us this most disappointing team this season. I know some thing we aren't a good basketball program, but the national media does. So to act as though fans are unreasonable for being disappointed in the last three years, especially this year is perplexing. No program is underachieving more at the University more than men's basketball. Womens basketball has always been awful. Men's has been one of most successful for 25 years prior to White(including four final fours). At some point he needs to achieve as expected

Yep. Grant a former assistant just like Mullen. Perfect comparison. White like Champ recruits well and is likeable, but underachieved so far. Would love the hire if it happened.

My hope is to string some wins together in both tournaments so we can kindly forget about the regular season.

I'm a Stricklin fan, but he does appear to be a bit gun shy when it comes to coaching changes based on the lack of moves in other sports. Should we continue to at least make the tournament I'm not sure he would make a change.
To be honest, if the season ends in disappointing fashion and Beilein shows interest, I'd make the move and nab him. I like White, but I don't think we can keep waiting around for him to grow into the role.

That would be awesome. This team COULD do it if they finally figure out consistency for 2 halves. I can't remember a team who is so up and down almost every game.

Playing for something could make them better. We just don’t know since they’re so young.
Yes, Mike White is the one that put the roster together and they can’t seem to mesh (Billy would almost always get his team to mesh before season’s end).
That said, they still could very well click at the right moment here in the NCAA tourney. Lets see how they do in the SEC tourney.

Season is over. No Blackshear for sec tourney and likely not for the ncaa.
Oh well, fun ride guys.
Now off the the off-season and see if Mike White can do well when he’s on the hot seat next year.

Be nice if they could tough out 1 more win to get to 20. But 19-14 or 20-14 either way is not a good look for a team which had the 2nd most talent in the sec and was preseason #6.
